Dirty, cheap & smelly

It is a horrid, dingy place described as "luxury". Dirty, smelly, rusty, cheap finishes. Unfriendly. I regreted the moment I walked in.

It's not luxury. It's nasty.

This isn't luxury. It's NASTY. Loved being woken up at 4.30am by prostitues yelling for their money. But both of them worked well, as they got the guy into the hallway and then locked themselves into his room until he paid. Butt naked in the hallway. Kudos ladies, kudos. The sheets had holes in them. Not luxury. Grit all over the floor. Not luxury. Mounds of dust and dirt in each corner. Not luxury. Towels were used as cheese cloths in a previous life. Not luxury. TV didn't work. Not luxury. Every bathroom fixture broken. Not luxury. Mirror cracked. Not luxury. Paint cracked and peeling on walls and cupboards. Not luxury. See where I'm going here? It's not luxury. They are playing fast and lose with the term luxury. Do yourself a favour. Don't stay here. Sleep in a gutter with rats as that will be a more pleasant experience of this nasty hole of a place.

Its near Sandton Center and in Hyde Park.

My experience was good with staff but other guest who came on two different night were so noise and there were not stopped by management knowing they were other Guest wanting to rest. The hotel is not being looked after well. Its a great facility but not cared for properly

It was terrible,the service was shocking and I had no hot water to shower.No one was at reception at 7am in the morning to book out.

Unfriendly, Staff were difficult, Woken up early, Unhygienic, Unsafe, everything is faulty. Advise strongly against staying here.

unsafe/strange

Staff are unfriendly and everything is a hassle. They are short on towels. And blankets. There were condom box's and wrappers all over the room. There were a few people in the "secure" parking clearly ingesting substances and having reactions to them in the wildest display of convulsions. Some heavy set man woke me up at about 6 am. Staff scream at each other until late in the communal kitchen.. which is littered with cocroaches.

I got into the room it was not vacuumed, the sheets were dirty and bedside lamp was not working and could not read at night for the 3 days I was there.

Not satisfied at all the place needs new management,they need to care about the cleanliness of the place,the aircons do not work properly,generally the place is substandard.

Location was excellence, and its brand new. But everything inside was the cheapest. They didn't even offer proper coffee in the room!!

Good Location

The location is good close to Hyde Park and Sandton. however the bed covers were dirty so we requested clean bedding and the shower wasn't very clean. The tiles needed to be bleached.

close to all major malls

If you looking for cheap and very basic accomodation this is it. My only gripe was the fact that the place was not very clean. Also the website doesnt indicate there is no elevator so lugging luggage up and down is your own doing. If you suffer from a medical condition such as arthritis, the stairs are a challenge. So maybe this needs to be put onto the hotel information.
