Uncomfortable room temp and maintenance issue

Room temperature was very uncomfortable - fan/air conditioner was ineffective. Told in process of renovating which does not add to the comfort of my stay Plug next to bed was not the right size. Needed an extension cord for a medical device I needed to use. Got less than an hours sleep.

Good value, close to the airport.

I am a frequent visitor at this hotel. Everybody knows me and is friendly and helpful. However if you don't like to be waken up early in the morning by overflying planes, find another place.

Convenient location and super staff

Overall fair. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly and outperformed the hotel itself which looks a little worn. The hotel is handy for access to malls, major arterials and the airport. Would recommend and would stay there again.

A very convenient stop over

Maybe not the place to stay long term but very convenient for people using the airport. You have to enjoy planes as they sweep very low over the hotel and may frighten some folk!

トータル的にバランスがとれたホテルです

ここを利用するのは2回目です。ビジネスホテルとホテルの中間といった感じの客室ですが、不満は全くありません。ネットもフリーで朝食込み。朝のフライトで注文しても食事が出てこないというイライラがありません（なので今回も利用しました） 少し残念なのは朝食バイキングの種類が以前よりも減ったこと。前は生のサーモン等がありましたが、今回はベーシックな朝食メニューといった感じでした。 フロントの対応も早いし、空港送迎もあるのでとても便利です。

Deceptive name of hotel

I booked this hotel thinking it was at the airport, but it isn't. The name of the airport is highly deceptive. Also, the staff at the desk led me to waste $45 on a fruitless trip to East Gate Mall. Arriving at the hotel, I discovered I had left my laptop charger on the plane. The staff directed me to East Gate Mall and call a taxi I paid $45.00 for. Arriving at the mall at 6;30, all the shops that sold chargers has already closed at 6.Otherwise the hotel is OK. I left at 4:00 the next morning and they made me a sack breakfast that was good for about 2.5 breakfasts!

Prima hotel dichtbij JNB airport.

We zijn over het algemeen tevreden over dit hotel. Houdt rekening met regelmatig grote groepen, waar we overigens geen last van hadden. Een opmerking: voor Zuid Afrika heb je een aparte stekker nodig, echter de stopcontacten in het hotel zijn weer van een ander formaat waardoor jouw net aangeschafte stekker niet past. we hebben onze elektrische apparaten bij de receptie moeten opladen, waarin ze overigens heel behulpzaam zijn. Dit is echt een punt waar het hotel iets aan moet doen.

Impossible to rest, planes fly right above you and at all times. If it weren't for thus I would have said it's ok but you can't get over the noise!!!!

Great for a 24 hour layover

Stayed in standard room with 2 double beds with wife and two children. Close to the airport. Hotel shuttle easy also provided shuttle to local shopping mall. Aircraft noise not a problem at night, flights must be restricted. Food OK,

Hotel shuttle operates only once per hour, this is inadequate - needs to be once every 1/2 hour as it used to be before takeover by Legacy Hotels. Maintenance of hotel rooms not very good - my air conditioner did not work, and, also, door of shower cubicle not fastened properly, came out of track while I was showering

Comfortable despite morning wake-up 'whoosh...!'

Handy enough location - 12 minute shuttle bus from Terminal A arrivals - and a typical and comfortable Western style corporate hotel room. Great welcome from the front desk team. Very satisfying breakfast.

Good Hotel - Bad Internet

Internet connection does not work in the rooms - had to use the "office centre" to connect - not the best when you have confidential work to do..... In the rooms, you have to close the windows and the curtains to keep out the noise (no double glazing.....) Staff excellent, great breakfast, but cannot use for business travel.

Convenient overnight transit stay

We have enjoyed numerous transit overnight stays at the Airport Grand Hotel.. The shuttle stop is convenient to the international terminal and the drivers were on-time and courteous. Buffet breakfast was great!
