Blue Sky Cabin - Minutes to Downtown W. Jefferson

This stunning 2023 custom home is perfect for romantic getaways, family vacations, or simply a moment of solitude. Offering a cozy outdoor fire pit and 6-person hot tub, surrounded by beautiful woodlands and mountain vistas, it's the perfect retreat to reset and reconnect. Mere minutes from historic West Jefferson, you can explore all downtown has to offer before returning to this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home to dine al fresco on the spacious deck at sunset.

Small residential enclave offers year-round paved access and a peaceful retreat for your next mountain getaway. Please note that there is some intermittent new home construction in the neighborhood, which may result in additional work vehicles or constuction noise during regular working hours. Host is not aware of any particular construction timeframes. There may not be any activity occuring during your stay, but we wish to be transparent with guests in advance as we cannot provide refunds for offsite noise outside of our control.

Blue Sky Cabin is our family home too, so we strive to maintain the highest-standards of quality and cleanliness. We also take great pride in continuously elevating our guest experience by offering an array of thoughtful and unique amenities to enhance your stay, such as:

The host was incredible. There was an electronic book about the house and the area that was sent to us ahead of time. The house was beautiful and clean. The host even left us cookies from a bakery in the area. The house was well stocked with everything we might need.

Clean, comfortable stay!

Our stay couldn’t have been better. The house was immaculately cleaned, always top priority when I must stay away from my home. The beds were all comfortable and there was a lot of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy quiet time. We loved the games, especially the axe throwing. Every detail was accounted for down to a sweet treat (cookie dough) left for us. Look forward to visiting again!

Mountain Weekend Getaway

We came up for the weekend with friends to visit our college kids and attend the APP State Old Dominion game and chose Blue Sky Cabin for our home away from home. Kari’s, the owner, couldn’t have made the stay any more relaxing. The home was clean and beautiful. Loved that we didn’t have to worry about sheets, towels, etc.. This cabin had beautiful Mountain View’s and we loved the nice touch of the sticky boy chocolate chip cookie dough. Absolutely no complaints with our stay. We will definitely stay again and recommend to any friends heading up that way

Great weekend at Blue Sky Cabin

The cabin was new, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was also outstanding. A great view and close to everything. The hosts also provided a digital guidebook which was very helpful. We will definitely return!

Blue Sky cabin

Wonderful house and location! The house had everything you would need. Owner has excellent communication. Terrific view. Enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to birds or light rain. Location is easy to access and a short drive to West Jefferson. We were sad that we only booked 2 nights. Will definitely book again!

Fantastic Mountain Getaway

Beautiful cabin, very clean, had numerous amenities and a great location. The hosts made the cabin warm and inviting. It was also tastefully decorated for the holidays. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Great weekend getaway

We went for for the weekend and it was the perfect getaway for the two of us with our 1 year old son. We got to go to dinner, took a hike, went to a great local Vineyard only 10 minutes away then came back to the house and truly had a chance to relax. From the patio views and hot tub on a cold night this place was just right. Also a short drive from Boone to get some more adventures under our belt. 3.5 hours from Raleigh it’s not a bad drive it’s very pretty and minutes from the blue ridge parkway. Will return when things warm up.
