"A Hideaway in Joburg. Anna, die rechte Hand der Chefin ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Schöner Garten mit kleinem Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat und English Breakfast. Wir hätten uns eine Selfservice Bar gewünscht in der die Möglichkeit im Haus Getränke zu erwerben, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit zu fuß zu weit ist und es dort auch nicht üblich ist, zu Fuß zu gehen, obwohl es eine wohlhabende Gegend ist."

"Marelyn and Ron were wonderful hosts. The reason for my visit was to attend a friend's funeral and they were so kind and thoughtful, that it made a difficult time just a little easier. My room was spacious, comfortable and the garden courtyard was the perfect spot to relax and listen to the birds! The location is also very central and for someone not familiar with the area, was easy to reach and close to shopping and restaurants. "This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. It must be a 2 stars boutique homestay instead. Room is too small for 2 king bed. Bathroom is too small with old shower stall. Old furniture and squeaking wood floor. Felt unwelcome by the management. Definitely not happy stay and not recommend to others. "

"More like a boarding house than a hotel but great place to stay. I had no a lovely room with small courtyard view,room had fridge, desk and chair, microwave, jug and tea/coffee, TV, bed was comfortable and very friendly and helpful people. It is in a safe area and a short walk to cafes and shops. "

"Our stay at Over the Moon was superb. From the beautiful decor, to the relaxing atmosphere, the stunning views of the city and most importantly the kind and outstanding service from Christine, Brian and everyone here. "This is a unique property built on natural rock surrounded by trees and birdlife in midst of suburb in Johannesburg.Artistic and comfortable and full of detail.The staff are amazing especially Radsen who cooks a delightful breakfast .Truly delightful stay."

"The BnB was convenient for our needs, comfortable and host Sonny was fantastic, if we ever have a need to go back that side of Johannesburg we will stay there again. just a heads up driveway is a bit steep for very low vehicles but with some practice can be negotiated okay."
