  • Enjoy your vacation in our remodeled ground floor, Oceanfront, 2 bedroom. 2 bath condo at Amelia By The Sea. Enjoy having a private fishing pier just a few steps from your back patio. Kitchen has new cabinets, granite countertops, and GE stainless steel appliances. The patio overlooks an updated lush grilling area. You will love the convenience of having the grill only steps away and no need to travel up and down the elevator....just relax on the patio with a beverage and enjoy the view. Large pool and two tennis courts in this gated community. Bring your bikes and lock them in the rack outside your front door.

    The main bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, DVD player, fan, an oceanfront view and room darkening curtains. Don't underestimate the benefit of these curtains if you like to sleep in on vacation. The en suite bathroom has been updated to include a new double vanity with a travertine top, a walk in shower and new tile flooring.

    The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, cable tv, a fan and shutters. We also keep beach chairs, tennis rackets, a shovel, small coolers, a beach wagon and beach toys for your use. The second bathroom is new as of 2025.

    The glass top round dining table is perfect for family dinners and game nights.

    The living room is oceanfront and has a flat screen TV, DVD player, Queen sleeper sofa, love seat and a chair and ottoman,.....it is perfect for relaxing.

    Our favorite spot is the patio....high seating gives you a beautiful view of the ocean. You can stroll out the back and be on the pier, at the pool or on your way to the beach. Try to make it up at least one morning to watch the sunrise and look for dolphins.

    The unit also has a stacked washer and dryer. Free Wifi . The SURF restaurant is right across the street....walk to dinner and back. We love to enjoy the music and casual atmosphere.
    You'll also be able to enjoy recently resurfaced tennis courts. WIFI is included. We have 5 charging stations throughout the condo.
    NO animals are allowed at Amelia By The Sea and this is a NON smoking unit. Smoking is not allowed in the community areas of the property and is not allowed on the beach.
    Parking is limited to two vehicles per condo. One space is provided and the second space is first come first served.
    Charming, historical downtown Fernandina Beach is just 5 miles away. Enjoy visiting the unique shops, fine & casual dining and nightlife.
    Nearby activities include golfing, horseback riding, Fort Clinch, kayaking, surfing, movie theater, fishing, shelling, hunting for sharks teeth and visiting Jacksonville (35 miles South). There is so much to do!
    Completed contract due within 5 days of booking.

Wonderful Beach Condo

Everything was amazing! The property was super clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The property owner was very responsive when booking and was available should we have needed anything during our stay. Would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay at the beach!

The Perfect Beach Vacation

If you want to optimize your vacation to the beach, you must stay here. Everything was perfect. The pool, the direct beach access, the property itself. Beyond that, the property owners are excellent communicators, and just good people in general.

Awesome Rental!!!!

This very well appointed condo’s location is unbeatable! The ground floor 2 bedroom condo is steps away from the private peer; the large well maintained pool and boardwalk to the beach beyond it were very convenient. Fishing on the pier was fun and the residents very friendly. VRBO and the condo owner were terrific. We made a great choice!

Great condo!

We absolutely loved this 1st floor condo. It was so easy to load/unload our vehicles and to walk out onto the pier and beach. The condo was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent. We look forward to renting this one again.

Beach trip

Mother/Daughter Getaway

My mother is 80 so I was concerned about the ease of getting her from the condo to the beach, but Norah provided great information, and it was perfect. My mother said that this was the best condo we have ever stayed in and that Norah and Paul had thought of everything!!! We had a great time and plan to go again in the very near future. I will definitely contact Norah for our next trip.

Perfect Getaway!

The condo was just perfect for our family trip to Fernandina. We had never been to the area before and fell in love with it. The condo is centrally located on the island and a short drive to shopping, restaurants, etc. The beach is right out the back of the condo and is beautiful! The shell and shark tooth hunting was so much fun. We will definitely be returning. Norah, the host, was a pleasure to work with.

First vacation for one

This was the first time I went on vacation by myself because everyone else backed out for personal reasons. I have to say, I actually enjoyed it. Norah was such a pleasure to work with and responded right away anytime I texted. The condo was outstanding! Perfect location, quiet, clean and had that at home feel. I will absolutely 100% contact Norah for all future getaways to Amelia Island.

Perfect for family vacation!

We had such a wonderful time here. This condo is perfect and is well-stocked with everything you need. The patio opens up to direct access to the pier and grilling area. The pier was awesome for fishing and the beach is full of shells. The area is also very safe! With two kids under 9, we never felt unsafe. Having the gated community was really awesome and added extra security and privacy. Communication with the host was fantastic and everything from booking, check in, the stay and check out was very smooth with no issues. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this unit!

Wonderful!!!

The condo was on the ground flour which was perfect for us. We just stepped out the door and the private pier was just a few yards away. The condo was perfect. Beautiful furnishings and The VIEW was spectacular. Watching the waves was so peaceful. This trip was special in the respect that my sister is very sick snd this might be the last time we are together like this. Wonderful memories!!

so relaxing!!

I live close to Myrtle Beach and it would be so easy to drive 45 minuets to Myrtle rather than 4.5 hours to Ameila Beach BUT when I tell you it was worth the drive, it really was!!! No awful tourist attractions on every block, no cars with loud music all hours if the night, no crazy beach or pool crowd (& we stayed on Memorial weekend!) The whole trip, room, location, pier, beach and pool was so clean & relaxing!!! This is now a family favorite vacation location!!! Ooohhhhhh and subsets on the PRIVATE pier are AMAZING !!!!

Wonderful and relaxing stay!

My husband and I had to change our travel plans only a couple of days before the trip. We were so thankful that such a lovely condo was still available at such short notice! Our goal was to have a relaxing week in a nice place and spend time at the pool and beach. That’s exactly what we got! Communication with Norah was excellent from the start and that was very appreciated! When we arrived, the condo was very clean and we had no problems with anything during our entire stay. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. The king bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the updated attached bathroom, especially the double vanity! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and Norah was great to work with. Thank you so much!
