Please note: in winter 2025 there will be some exterior building work, including painting, to keep our luxury property in top condition.

With 18 Ocean Place you deal with us, the owner directly. This is not an investor property rented by a management company, this is our second home. We think you’ll agree the difference is noticeable in the quality of furnishings and the care we take maintaining the unit, and in making it comfortable and inviting.

Our guests will enjoy an experience that is better than other vacation rentals. This is our personal vacation home that we enjoy sharing with others. Our condo is kept extremely clean and we will work hard to make sure you have a wonderful, fun, and relaxing visit to 18 Ocean Place.

There are two bedrooms and two newly renovated full bathrooms in this spacious and comfortable condo. The master bedroom has a king size bed and quality linens. The mattress is high quality and very comfortable! The bedroom faces the ocean and opens to the private balcony. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. Both bathrooms are recently remodeled. The bathrooms are clean, bright, and luxurious..

The new, large kitchen is fully appointed with top of the line appliances, cabinets and countertops. There is a tile back splash and under-cabinet lighting that brightly illuminates the quartz waterfall countertop. Everything is here for you to make a picnic lunch for the beach, or for a gourmet cook to prepare a fine meal. The kitchen opens across a breakfast bar to the dining room which boasts a large table and seating for six. Enjoy conversation or watch TV on the new 60" HDTV in the spacious living room. The seating is comfortable and the view of the waves unsurpassed.

The Ritz-Carlton property surrounds this condo. The hotel building is next door, just 100 footsteps away. The Ritz-Carlton has used our condo many times for their guests when they needed additional accommodations. As a guest at our condo you have access to the luxuries and services of the AAA Five Diamond Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Enjoy the world class spa or a meal at one of the four restaurants ranging from the five diamond Salt to more casual and kid-friendly settings. The entire experience was 5 star! I spent a lot of time researching vacation home options in Amelia Island and if you are reading this review and on the fence about where to stay, this place is it. The hosts were super responsive and everything was very clean. We had the best vacation. The views and location of this condo can’t be beat. We definitely plan on returning!

Perfect condo

I rented this condo based on previous reviews and ratings! This condo is immaculate, and I’m very picky! Great view, we loved watching the dolphins play each morning in the ocean. There’s plenty of room for a family of 4. The beds are comfortable, which is a bonus on a week long vacation. The owners are wonderful to check in with you to make sure everything is ok! Would highly recommend this condo. Can’t say enough good things about 18 Ocean Place!

Great stay and a GREAT location

Lovely 2B/2Bth condo on the 4th floor. Well appointed and very comfortable. This condo also had something a lot of the other condos we have rented do not, LAMPS! I know seems like a strange thing to call out but having lamps throughout the room really makes a difference in lighting the room appropriately. If I had to nitpick one small thing, it would be that some of the surfaces were a little dusty but, by no means, was the condo dirty. Just an observation. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. GREAT communication from the owners. Very engaged in making sure our stay was a good one!

Never disappointed

What can I say accept that our stay is never disappointing, the condo is absolutely beautiful, always spotlessly clean and provides everything you need to have that ultimate getaway. Great place!!

Very well appointed condo with beautiful views and large balcony. It was wonderful being right next to the Ritz Carlton and all the dining options there. We walked on the beach which is lovely. The host was very, very thoughtful and engaged, the beds were comfortable and the unit well maintained and clean.

Amazing

This condo was absolutely fabulous. The place was super clean, had all the amenities that you could want, and the most amazing view of the water and beach. We even had fun watching for the gopher tortoises and rabbits. Bring a pair of binoculars and you will enjoy watching the dolphins play in the water too. The location was absolutely perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding Condo, Phenomenal Views - Highly Recommend

Our adult children wanted to celebrate our 30th Anniversary with us via an ocean vacation. After much research, we hit the proverbial jackpot....18 OCEAN PLACE. The owners gifted us with a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival! Much appreciated after our flight. Outstanding condo, super clean (and I'm very particular...labeled clean freak), beautifully furnished with a spectacular view. We have traveled from Maui to Destin, and would rate Ocean 18 on breath taking Amelia Island #1 without hesitation. Not to mention the outstanding communications with the owners. The condo was beautiful and had everything needed. Additionally, there were beach chairs, umbrellas, canopies, etc. The location is convenient to both fine and casual dining; and minutes from the quaint town of Fernandina. And of course the Ritz Carlton is 100 yards away. My recommendations usually are very hard to earn...but without hesitation - I rate 18 Ocean Place and it's owners A++++

Five Star vacation condo

We have been vacationing for years on Amelia Island and found this condo to be head and shoulders above the rest. It starts with the wonderful and receptive owners, Brad and Aimee. The listing does not even begin to accurately describe how great the condo and included amenities are. The condo is newly renovated and very clean. The building is right on the beach and next to the Ritz Carlton. You only have a short walk over the dunes to the beach or next door to the restaurants and spa at the Ritz. The condo has beach chairs, an umbrella and several boogie boards / floats. Beach towels are in the condo so all you need is already there! Brad and Aimee checked in with us when we arrived, at midweek and upon departure to answer any questions or make suggestions. If you had to deal with a management company you would be lucky to get a call back the same day. We highly recommend staying at this condo and you will not be disappointed.

Picky Guest with a 5 Star Rating!

I will start by saying I am likely one of the pickiest users of VRBO. I probably expect too much admittedly. But this unit MET ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS and then some! First, there are no surprises. All that is pictured is exactly what you'll find - and I appreciate that. But, the bonus is all that you can't see in photos... the Master bed is extremely comfortable, the cleanliness of the unit was better than any place we've ever stayed (Spotless!) and the reclining leather couches offer everyone a chance to relax. There were so many "extras" that I appreciate while vacationing too ... "brand new-like" Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, SO many beach toys, plush beach towels, kitchen and laundry supplies available that you typically have to purchase (may have been left from previous guests), a GREAT coffee maker, pantry shelf space for guests... I could go on and on. Needless to say, our vacation was absolutely wonderful largely due in part to our accommodations. Brad was also very attentive to our needs while staying, and provided a great amount of emails with recommendations for the area before we arrived. Overall ... great hosts. Fantastic views. Beautiful home. We are so appreciative to have found this unit, and plan to book again soon! Thanks so much Brad!

Great again!

Brad and Aimee continue to be attentive to the needs of their guests. Skin care products, very well equipped kitchen and beautiful furnishings were our favorites. It is spotless and great proximity to the Ritz Carlton for special meals.

Everything you need and more

Everything has been thought of, for anyone looking to stay on the most beautiful stretch of sand on Amelia island. Discovered Ocean Place last year when we were at the Ritz. Same beach, same view, same appointments at spa, same drinks and sushi at lobby bar. We cooked for ourselves most nights and everything you needed to stir, measure, pour into was available in triplicate. Hosts accessible and totally charming. Saw reviews for apartments in same complex some not so flattering and none were anywhere close to what we experienced at 18 .

Perfect location with amazing view & beach

Thank you Brad & Aimee for an amazing stay at 18 Ocean Place. Check in and check out was probably the easiest and least complicated of anywhere I have stayed. We really appreciated all of the special touches like a comfy bed and good pillows, snacks, a bottle of champagne and a well stocked kitchen. It is so nice to stay in a rental property with good pans and cooking utensils. The ocean view was the show stopper for this property..what a stunner. We also had great views of the fireworks for New Year’s Eve at the Ritz. From the balcony. We enjoyed several meals at the Ritz and at Lagniappe. The local of the condo could not be beat!! We would love to return again sometime in the warmer weather.

Awesome Amelia vacation

This property was perfect for a quick beach getaway. The location next to the Ritz is great and the unit is very comfortable and well stocked. Exactly what we needed to de-stress just before Christmas

Summer Getaway

We enjoyed our family getaway very much. The condo is beautiful, clean, and well appointed. It is truly a home away from home but in paradise. Hosts are responsive and pleasant. Highly recommend!
