"Beautiful property! Great location 5 minute walk to town centre, restaurants and shopping. Laura & Derek were very welcoming and serve an EXCELLENT cooked breakfast! There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended."

"Short walking distance to shops and amenities. Easy to park. Fairly spacious room with all the basic utensils you need. Comfy bed and sofa. Ample towels and flannels. Friendly check in staff. Only downside was the wet room style shower. Just not our preference having a permanently wet bathroom floor, even with the fan on constantly."

"Our room was comfortable. We had a suite and there as no TV in the bedroom which would have been more comfy. The bed was comfortable and great to sleep in. The bathroom was good except the shower had a pull around screen instead of a fixed one and we found that once showering the water went everywhere."

"This was the right kind of place for us. It's not a 5 star experience, but the place has everything we needed, and the location was excellent for walking to town. While the outside looks a little dated, everything inside was clean and in good shape. We especially liked the tub (indoor jacuzzi tub) and the mini kitchen which allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunch for a day out exploring in Milford Sounds. The bed was also comfortable with nice linens/towels, etc."

"Generally ok place to stay. Has everything you need like all other hotels. Unfortunately the 1 bed apartment are not sound proof. So we had a poor nights sleep with hearing the people above us walking around and playing music until midnight and then car doors closing at 7am. The rooms don’t feel very private either with big glass doors in the bedroom and lounge so you have people walking past and looking in. Also worth noting, no air con "

"Our room had the quietest door between ensuite and bedroom that I have ever encountered. It was great as I am a night riser. They kindly made up our room each day, but without making the beds. It was great being within walking distance of eateries/town."

"It was clean and overall great for backpackers/a hostel experience. It had a nice large kitchen area as well as a living room, garden and yard. The bed was average."

"Floor in room creaked like mad. Fridge vibrated and rattled when it turned on. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Strange smell in toilet/shower area.Wooden veranda in front of the rooms made it sound like a herd of elephants were running passed. If you wanted to fill the jug to make a drink, the only place was hand basin in the bathroom."

"The shower leaked a bit when the showerhead was pushed to the side and there was no ventilation inside the shower. Other than that it was perfectly fine"

"Tired hotel, rooms clean, bed was uncomfortable so partner and I slept in seperate beds. Although hotel was clean looking there was a definate musty smell in common areas. Room smelt fine. "
