"Huge wow factor when you come in. It’s a recently converted 130 year old school with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Fully outfitted to cook your own meals. A three minute walk to the Canal Streetcar. Came with a family of four. Gated for additional safety. Free parking onsite. Gym downstairs is two treadmills and a bunch of barbells and some benches - all you need. 100% would stay here any time we are in the city, especially if staying for a week or more."

"It's a remarkable hotel, unique in so many ways due to its historic nature. Every room is different, so it's all very cool...it feels like a bit of a maze finding your way through the hotel, but in a fun way. Great staff and very nice pool make this a great place to stay. Just be warned: don't pick a balcony room facing the street unless you are prepared to deal with some VERY loud traffic noise from the streets below. (Cars with *booming* stereos are very frequent, well past midnight.) Choosing...

"This is an exceptional property. It is an oasis hidden in the middle of the French Quarter. After a long day of walking, it was such a treat to cool off in the pool. The complimentary drinks in the pool house were an extra treat. The rooms are beautiful and quiet with plush towels and crisp sheets. Thank you Shaun and Anthony for making our stay so wonderful. We will be returning. "

"The area around the pool and hot tub was very pleasant. I am not sure if the hot tub was working. It was cold when we dipped our toes into it. The picturesque patio made up for it! "

"The room was sooo clean! I also loved how secure it was. You need a key card to get into the building as well as to the elevator area. And if you arrive before check in or have a later flight in the day they have lockers you can use for your luggage. The staff was super friendly! We will definitely stay again ! "
