The train from Naples took us to the historic Salerno rail center and even with two rollable bags, the walk to The Holiday Guesthouse was an easy and mostly flat 12-minutes. "It's super cute to stay in but there's not much around the area to see, its in the middle of no where and transportation is hard if you dont have a car (tourist). Some of the staff were very unhelpful and not attentive to us while we were there. However the rooms were clean, the balcony and views were nice!"

"Room was very clean and nice. Same for bathroom. We had to walk from station to the location with luggages, couldn’t find any Taxis or Uber… problem in Salerno no taxis even on our way back. BlueMare very nice and right on the beach but overall Salerno is not made for tourists."
