"Very nice cabin in secluded location in the woods, with a lake access. The cabin is in new condition, has very well equipped kitchen and is nicely decorated. Kayaks were available to use by the guests. The property manager was easy and fast to reach when we had some questions. Overall a very good experience."

"Mentioned some maintenance observations and was told these were in the listing. But not when I booked. One shower not working, no laundry. There were 2 other showers though. Otherwise the place offered many sitting areas inside and out. There were helpful tips about fire regulations.View of lake may be an overstatement. Yes, could see a bit. No direct access.Highlight was seeing a fox trot across the lawn at twilight."

"Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage."

"This is a lovely apartment right in the heart of Baddeck. It was very comfortable and well set up, and the host, Courtney was great. It was just a few minutes walk to a number of great restaurants. I'd like to especially call out Tom's Pizza - the pizza is amazing, and so is the value. It's just a minute up the street. "What a gorgeous place to stay. The accommodation is spacious and private. Surrounded by trees, the view from the deck is wonderful. The trailer is very well equipped with everything you would need for a week-long stay. The place is spotless and there are some lovely, personal touches which shows that the hosts sincerely want their guests to enjoy their stay. Rick and Pat are lovely, accommodating, and flexible. This is our second stay here and I'm sure it won't be our last."

Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury.
