"I was very happy staying at The Grainger Hotel again. Incidentally i have stayed at The Grainger Hotel on numerous occasions. "Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on."

"14 June 2night stay greeted by hoist room clean parking good bed excellent hot water but slow to fill bath would have liked a bigger tv but only watched it a couple of hours over the stay met MR CASH at the second pub just a few minutes walk from our hotel made us extremely welcome good beer the customers showed us we’re to get bus into Newcastle big question would I stay hear again YES Would I recommend it. "This has to be one of the best hotels in Newcastle, it was so clean and fairly quiet at night offering a good nights sleep, bed was comfy and absolutely HUGEEE, staff were lovely with easy check-in and the quayside (river) view from the window was lovely. Would stay again and recommend to others."
