Stunning! Luxurious spacious retreat with unobstructed breathtaking unobstructed lake views from every living space. Renovated winter 2023. Beautiful designer furniture. Large windows. East facing with sunrise and moonrise views. 2 large family rooms with an additional viewing gallery space for reading and chilling. Extra large comfy sectional down filled in upper family room for movie nights and just relaxing by the fireplace. Down filled large sofas on main floor family room. Hot Tub Spa runs all year. 2 designated work spaces Shallow sandy water. Lake Simcoe waterfront just down the road from Friday Harbor. Level lot. no stairs to water. 3 bedrooms plus 1 twin sleeping area off Primary bedroom. Wake up to an incredible view of the lake from the primary bedroom which also has an ensuite with soaker tub and shower as well a seating area by the window to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee. Second bedroom on upper level also has king bed with semi ensuite bath. Main floor bedroom has 2 twin beds and bathroom off the hall. 50 minutes from GTA and short drive or walk to Friday Harbour to enjoy the restaurants, shops, skating in winter. Spacious well appointed rooms. Chefs kitchen is fully equipped with gas range, stainless appliances, dishwasher and all the cooking utensils you need. Cathedral ceilings on 2nd floor with floor to ceiling windows. Room for everyone to spread out. Sleeps 6 to 7 comfortably. Dock with large tanning or entertaining platform, BBQ, Smoker, fire pit, fast internet, cable tv in 2 bedrooms main floor living room and upper family room. 4 TVs in total Rogers Ignite internet. etc. Paddle boat, 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. Fully equipped executive home with linen service. Close to all amenities, world class golf course down the road. Boat rentals at Harbour Master. For longer stays, housekeeping service available upon request at extra charge. Close to all amenities. Year round spa hot tub!

PERFECT WINTER ESCAPE. BEST ICE FISHING. Hot tub during cold winter nights is perfect next to the water to relax and star gaze. Propane gas heaters on deck. Close to Snow Valley and Horseshoe Valley ski resorts. Friday Harbor has skating rink, cross country ski trails and snow shoeing. Flat land to water. Snow Mobile, cross country skiing, hiking. Ice fishing. Or just come to get away from the stress of the city and unwind for the weekend enjoy the fireplace and movie nights. Sit back and relax in the Hot Tub while enjoying incredible views.

March Break Getaway

We cannot say enough good things about this property. It is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The views are exceptional and the amenities are second to none. We look forward to booking another stay soon.

Owner was very friendly and communicative. Place was very clean. Excellent lake view. Has all amenities. Grocery and other stores within 15min drive. Excellent for weekend retreat.

Great family vacation

The property was beautiful and as advertised! Decor and views are exceptional. Natalie and her team were helpful and responsive. The sand bottom made swimming off the dock incredible. The overall experience was fantastic! Will recommend this property and hope to book again in the future.

Winter getaway

We spent a long weekend here while we were visiting family. We had a great experience. The home was clean and decorated nicely. The view of the lake was exceptional and the hot tub was a nice touch after a day of skiing. We would stay again!

We had an incredible weekend with family and friends at this gorgeous and well-appointed property. The lay out of the house was great as we all had our own space but the common areas were large enough for us to gather and spend a memorable weekend together. Great place near the city

This was our second stay at this cottage. Since the previous summer, there have been a number of upgrades that enhanced our stay, although the first stay was great as well. Our family would happily rent this cottage every summer. Natalie provides everything a group could need, and she communicates quickly and effectively. Highly recommended!

Great Get-away!

We were 5 seniors looking for a lakeside retreat. We were not disappointed - the house had everything we could possibly need, and then some. Indoors was so spacious. Outside was just perfect! Beautiful view, wonderful, relaxing hot tub, and, not-to-be-forgotten, the fire pit! We enjoyed it all.

Our family get together was a great success at this lovely property. We did encounter a significant issue on our first day, but Natalie and team dealt with it quickly and ensured we were compensated appropriately. It was smooth sailing from then on and we were able to really enjoy our stay.

Beautiful and relaxing mini vacation!!

The house was clean but few minor issues. We had booked the place for 6 adults and 4 kids once we got there there was a bunk bed in downstairs bedroom, king size upstairs and 2 twin size beds upstairs, and a single bed. Two adults ended up sleeping on the floor (next time I would bring air mattress) the washroom downstairs was not cleaned properly. Other than that honestly no issues. One last thing the check out was at 12:00 we rushed to clear the house around 9:30 -10 so we could enjoy the last hour. To our surprise the pool guy shows up making it so awkward for us to be there. I have stayed at different cottages and I have never experienced this. So if you are booking be prepare to have some guy walk in on you to clean the jaccouze 1 hour before your check out time. Other than that if they would have us we would love to come back 👍

Otherwise, every place has deficiencies!

There we two important things that we felt could be improved. First was the dock. The only access to entering the water is from the dock which seems unsafe. Secondly, most of the windows don’t have screens so they could not be opened. Otherwise, our stay was very comfortable.

Great spot to get away from the city

Very nice house/cottage, right on the water and close to Toronto. Communication with Natalie before (and once during) our stay was very easy - she responded promptly to all emails. The only thing that was a bit off-putting was that she mentioned at least 4 times that she was down one housekeeper and we were made to feel like we had to pick up the cleaning slack as a result. In fairness, she doesn't know us, so I understood, but I didn't need to be told more than once. Otherwise, there are a few minor things that couldn't get me to 5 stars - very small fridge and difficult to use freezer; staircase and dock are poorly built; ceiling fan in master bedroom is noisy. The cottage sleeps 4 adults, 2 children and a very young child comfortably (we had 4 adults and two children under 7), but 10 adults would be very tight. Positives - the view is fantastic; the property is large; the hot tub is great; the barbecue worked well; there are plenty of plates, bowls and cutlery; the two spacious tv areas were a nice bonus, with lots of options like Netflix, etc. if it rains. The cottage very child-friendly and the water is very shallow - also great for kids. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cottage feel without having to travel too far from Toronto and we look forward to returning next summer.

An Wonderful Family Rental

I have rented this cottage four times now for a stay with family and friends. It is spacious and well appointed and nothing beats the views and the sandy bottom beach for the children. Thanks as always, Natalie.

Family getaway

We had a great time at Water’s Edge. The house is as it appears in the pictures. The lake is beautiful and the kids loved the hot tub. There is lots of room to lounge inside on a rainy day, which made for a relaxing vacation for all. Thanks!
