Dish and dishwasher soap and sponge. Laundry detergent for washing machine. Washer and Dryer are in the home.

Bedding:
Bed linens are made on beds. Extra linens, blankets, pillows and sheets are stored in master storage and can be provided upon request. Two extra folding beds are stored in master closet for your convenience.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully gourmet equipped. We provide ten complementary Nespresso coffee capsules, spices, pepper, salt. Small appliances include: toaster, blender, Nespresso coffee machine, press coffee, teapot, electric kettle, crockpot, chopper, juicer, air fryer. Air Filtered drinking water through reverse osmosis is provided by smaller faucet on kitchen sink. All BBQ cooking supplies are provided. Kitchen offers all utensils and cookware such as plates, bowls, silverware, wine, bear, vodka, tequila, whisky, champaign and drinking glasses, and kitchen / bar accessories such as wine opener, shaker, cocktail / shot jigger and more. Large appliances include: Refrigerator, Gas range, built-in microwave, dishwasher.

House was beautiful, great location and very safe(gated community). Here are the issues that I was not happy with:1. The air conditioner return in the master bedroom was so loud, even with ear plugs we had trouble sleeping. Air filter was so dirty and caked up, I don’t know how that compressor was still running. I texted host(Alex) about this and he said he will send the cleaning lady next morning but he also asked me if I can replace the filter. As a long time user of VRBO, I’ve NEVER had a host ask me to do something like that, especially when I’m on my vacation. Also, I was concerned about my three grandchildren breathing that junk. Anyway, Alex did NOT send anyone to replace the filter….what a host!2. Oven door doesn’t stay closed. While baking, we had to lean our body against the door to kept the door closed…obviously, it didn’t bake well. Per host, nobody mentioned it.3. I asked Alex if we can check in an hour early but he said there is a fee, so, I said never mind. Little after 3 pm, we went through security gate and we were waiting on the street outside the house for 4 pm. Lo and behold, Alex sent me a message saying that there will be a fee for early check in. I told him that we are waiting outside the house and have NO intention of entering the house until after 4pm. If he had checked the Ring camera that’s at the door, he would have known we did not entered the house. I was so upset with this incident, I decided to go to dinner…we entered the house after 5 pm.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful and safe gated community in Indio. The home is a short 20 min drive to downtown Palm Springs area.

Lovely house and surroundings.

This looks in reality as pictured. The pool is not a pool but a large hot tubpool and it was clean. It didn't get hot tub hot but it did warm up. Bedrooms are large and each has its own bath. Not enough water pressure to wash your hair in the shower. The master shower did not have hot water. Couldn't tell if the air conditioner actually worked but the fan did. Garage is clean and easy to use. The neighborhood is nice for walks and the water ways are beautiful. There is privacy and also a nice view on three sides. The house is short on amenities and the towels and linens could be fresher. We appreciated the well furnished patio areas and nice furniture inside as well. I wish it had been cleaner - carpets need cleaning, as do all linens even when they haven't been used for a while. Needed more blankets (was cold there). Needed a fresh sponge and refills in the cleanser bottles. The kitchen is well stocked. Some silverware was dirty in the drawer. There are good appliances, washer, and dryer. Be sure that the owner has changed the entry code since previous renters. It is easily accessible from US10 highway in Indio. This house is located in a secured, gated community. Good wi-fi and TVS everywhere. The wines are 5 or less so bring your own ! Reasonable for the size but those little things count!

Party Atmosphere vs Relaxing Vacation

Property is nice and well stocked for large gatherings. Pool/jacuzzi combo was enjoyable. Neighborhood lovely as well. A couple of things happened with the spa controls and front door lock and property owner was very responsive to make things work. Fabric on the large lounger by the pool was ripped and threadbare. There were a lot of marks on the walls and some dents and overall the place could use a really good scrubbing. The pool table is very rickety with one leg leaning the wrong way and the bumpers worn out. We were worried it might fall over so were extra careful.One thing we had not planned on was the party that went on in the adjoining home for two of the three nights we stayed. The young folks partying (young relative to us) started there partying the first night around midnight and it went on until sunrise. The next day it started up in the afternoon and went on until into the night. We were not able to sleep in the beautiful primary suite as the noise was non-stop. Moving to the downstairs did help and the other two bedrooms had quiet for the most part. At one point on the second day, there was a music war that broke out between our neighbor, us and the people across the lake. Of course none of this is the property owner's fault and the price was great for the home and amenities. It's just unfortunate that this happens. There did not seem to be any other parties going on in the neighborhood so maybe this was just an anomaly.

Disgusting

Upon check-in, we arrived to find a car in the driveway with a male waiting in the car for the cleaner to finish. They did not leave until around 4:30 pm. When we walked in it smelled liked she at least mopped, however I think that is all that was done. We found a lime slice on floor as we opened the refrigerator. As we selected our rooms I found hairs on bathroom floor. As the night went on, we found several other issues. As cooking dinner, the back splash behind stove was caked with grease and dried food particles. The walls, baseboards and kitchen cabinets are dirty. The soap pump on kitchen sink was broken and only sponge for us to use was a used one. The downstairs bedroom door has a layer of dust, the vents are black from not being cleaned. Upon retiring for the night our friends in the master bedroom pulled back the comforter only to find filthy sheets. They were dirty, wrinkled had hair and pieces of clear beads on the sheets. They also felt grimy. There were also clear beads on the floor, so you know they did not vacuum. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall in the master bathroom. We inspected our bed only to find several hairs on our sheets and pillowcases. I messaged host, he stated he was sorry and would give cleaners hell. He would send cleaners out next day; we were uncomfortable with that and told him "No". We washed all bedding ourselves. During are stay we found hair in every bathroom. We requested refund of 1 night or the cleaning fee. We were denied.

Christmas by the lake

The 4 of us enjoyed our sunshine Xmas immensely. The house was just as we'd wish it to be and Alex was the perfect host.We know the area well, having been lucky to vacation there many times, and we are already looking forward to staying at this property again.
