"The room was hot, sticky, and smelly. I was planning on staying there two nights with some friends of mine and we did not feel safe in the area and ended up staying elsewhere and losing our money. The room had hardly any amenities, no hair dryer, no iron, nothing. It felt dirty and I did not feel comfortable at all there. "

There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. "

"A disappointing stay at what was expected to be a charming antique hotel. Upon taking my first shower, I discovered that the towel provided had two large holes and visible black fingerprint marks. This immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control. The bathroom window was extremely dirty, appearing as though it had not been cleaned in years. "Right in the heart of historic downtown Sanford. Short walk to Lake Monroe and all of the local amenities. Check in was a breeze and the room was tastefully designed and color coordinated very well. The ceilings are high and the ceiling tiles are very unique. There are artistic touches in the entire unit which makes it quite cozy and fun."
