"The hotel is older style but my room looked newly renovated (Room 2). It was clean, convenient and quiet. It shows that management has high standards as the workmanship and state of maintenance were very high. I really loved the pool early in the morning and in the evening after a hot day in the city."

"Very beautiful older resort. The property and beach are breathtaking. It is down a very steep hill so plan accordingly. A long hike up to the parking and taxi. Excellent food served at your room, at the bar or on the beach. Very romantic. Many tours available. And very inexpensive. I will definitely return for a longer visit."

"Overall it was good experience staying at the Daylight Inn Davao. The room was clean but some corner area has some dust. The shampoo doesn't smell good it was awful luckily I brought my own. When I check in the guard didn't help me at all seeing that I was with heavy luggage."

"The staff were very accommodating . They work hard to clean it. THe decor is.very dated There are no drawers, just a cupboard with shelving and a rod with 6 hangers. The breakfast buffet is substantial and varies daily. The restaurant service is a bit slow, but the food.is tasty. We had.a nice view. "

"Hotel was close by the Airport. Getting a grab there was alot more cheaper than the hotel's transport service especially if you're a solo traveller like I am. Hotel is right opposite the SM Mall which had plenty of places to eat, and activities to do within. Do check the opening hours of SM though. 7/11 convenience store is just across too for any snacks needed late at night. Room was big, spacious and clean. Room service and house keeping was great too.
