"Beautiful rooms and grounds. Room service food did not have a cover so it got wet in the rain. Free breakfast was ok, nothing special."

"The only benefit is that the accommodation is near Killarney National Park - this is a dilapidated and outdated hotel. Staff were hardly to be found and other people staying there were rude and obnoxious. Children were running down the hall and banging on doors. The shower room was the worst and with no curtain, the water after the shower got everywhere."

"The Vero is in the middle of a renovation. It affected our stay as they were revamping a lot of their common areas. Room was already renovated and nicely done."

"This is a great little spot. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and very generous. A few things id not before booking. The bathroom is quite small, so if you want to change privately, it might be difficult to do so. They also didn't have shampoo or conditioner, but once I asked for some, the hosts were very accommodating - perhaps giving me some from their own bathroom! Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend!!"

"Nice room and great breakfast. The staff was kind and helpful. Our room faced the street and the traffic and noise were very loud. There is a pub across the street. It was hot (No AC so had to leave the windows open) and the room had one lousy fan. I asked for a second and was given what I was told was the only available fan in the hotel. It worked better than the one in the room, so we were very glad to have it. If you stay here, book a room facing the courtyard."

"Hotel is okay for a short 1 or 2 night stay, wouldn't book for longer due to the poor ventilation and outdated decor. For the price I paid, was expecting more coming from London. The gym was being refurbished when I visited, buffet isn't a open buffet. Only allowed to order 1 hot meal, only the basic version which is cold cuts as open buffet. Staff members didn't inform what level my floor was or explain what the booking detailed. There are other options around Killnary."

"We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers and were a bit nervous about staying over a popular pub. It turned out to be the absolute decision we could have made. We had a room with a double bed and two twins, which was perfect for our family. The pub isn't so loud that it bothers you while you are in your room - the only thing we had was a bit of street noice, but that's par for the course. The food in the pub is great too! The center location couldn't have been better - there is street...
