"We would have preferred to be closer to town but the drive wasn't too far. Place was spotless, kitchen well equipped. Setting very pretty on the water but our weather did not allow us to enjoy it fully. Lots of birds to watch, deer, even a fox walked by."

"Great cottage to use as a base to discover the area. Well equipped, quiet and close to restaurants and shopping."

"We enjoyed our stay at this cottage very much. A quiet and peaceful spot by the water with all the comforts of home. Enjoyed morning coffee and hot chocolate on the deck by the Bay, with three different seating areas to choose from. We had great weather all week and the cottage was centrally located near all the places we wanted to visit. Yi was the perfect host; great communication in advance of our arrival and she checked in with us a few times during our stay to make sure we had...

"What a great cozy tiny home! They had all the extra little touches to make it over the top. A beautiful personalized note, a welcome basket, candles, robes. A wonderful space for a romantic get away. The ground were great with the gazebo for relaxing it games and a hot tube for two. Thanks for the great stay"

"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. A few excited moments at dusk when we caught sight of several whales waaaaay out – okay, turned out be distant shoals but what fun! Enjoyed long walks … to...

"Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe."

"Clean, well appointed rooms with an amazing view of the ocean. The owners are very considerate of traveller’s, with the amenities offered in the home. The Kitchen is stocked with quality items. A very pleasurable stay!"

"A lovely property inside and out! The landscaping gives a peaceful and private view of the bay. Nicely decorated with even small vases of fresh flowers tucked in each room. The owners respond quickly and provide detailed descriptions and information. We hope to return for a longer stay!"

"It was the perfect getaway. The view was wonderful and the cottage was extremely clean. Glen, Ruby and Clayton were awesome. Great hosts. We would definately stay here again. It was fantastic and so charming all around. Thank you for everything!"
