"Absolutely beautiful cabin and property. Keolynn is a wonderful host! We enjoyed the horses visiting at the window and the fresh tomatoes from the garden. Would definitely recommend!"

"My family had a relaxing stay at the Cottage. Very well supplied and everything we needed for our stay. This was the best accommodation that we had on our 14 day trip on Vancouver Island."

"Our stay was quiet and peaceful. We had sunny weather, but even on a cold or rainy day, this is the perfect place to curl up and enjoy the ocean panorama from the window. Loved it!"

"Host where very accommodating"

"we were travelling with another couple-there was plenty of space. The kitchen gave us plenty of flexibility and a great outdoor space to relax in. Just a few minutes drive to the main market in Coombs and 15 minutes into Qualicum Beach. The host was very responsive! Will stay again!"

"Loved the cabin and the area. Had an issue but they handled it to my satisfaction. Would definately stay again."

"We booked the property for a little family reunion, on the beach we used to vacation at years ago. It's exactly what we were looking for! The property is spacious, has great amenities and outdoor space, and is literally 3 steps to the beach. Can't wait to book another trip here. "

"The place was more spacious than expected and we received a warm welcome from Trish when we arrived. She provided a nice little touch with chocolates on the pillow, extra beach towels, tea bag, coffee and hot chocolate. We just didn't like the mattress, too soft for our taste but tastes differ."

"Wonderful stay at this location , Tom was truly an excellent host and has a perfect home for our annual trip to the island. the home had everything we needed to accommodate a larger group size and plenty of space for us to organize our day field trips. The hot tub was certainly most welcome after long days along with the patio and propane fire place. Tom really cares about the wellbeing of his guests and goes above and beyond to provide a good experience. hands down the best trip ever...

"Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to amenities, Bigfoot's Rest was bright, clean and modern. The host uses locally sourced and environmentally friendly products. We had no issues with the check-in process. Communication with the host was handled quickly and efficiently. We'd definitely book it again if we're in Courtenay."
