"We had a lovely stay at the Chateau acadien. The panoramic view from the deck of the Cape Breton shoreline is unforgettable. All the rooms were luxurious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location on Cheticamp Island is in the original fishing settlement, and a small museum is being built nearby. It is supremely quiet and peaceful, but conveniently close to Cheticamp. I highly recommend this property. "

"We celebrated our silver anniversary trip in Cheticamp and stayed in this charming, waterfront apartment. This rental was perfect, adding a blend of a maritime heritage with modern taste. It was clean, quaint and offered a spectacular view of the fishing pier. As a snow crab capital, it was an honor watching the work boats and crew unload tons of crabs each day, with the option to purchase directly from them! "Beautiful cabin steps from the beach . Well stocked , good communication . I love sitting on the deck drinking my coffee in the morning and camp fires at night . There are nice fire pits set up to enjoy a nice evening "

"My three sisters and I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the property and the town. Very well stocked with linens and kitchen ware. I would stay here again and most definitely recommend it to other travelers!"

"To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so...

"Here are a few things that we would like to add: There was not enough shampoo, no saran wrap or foil paper, no tea or coffee, no curtains in patio door. Oven mitts should be replaced as one of the ladies got burned removing something from oven. Every place that we stayed had enough shampoo and all these items mentioned above.We would like to say thank you for letting us sign in at 3 pm instead of 4 pm which helped a lot."

"A convenient location for getting to the west side of Cape Breton NP. The house has a gorgeous water view, and is very comfortable!We enjoyed seeing the Milky Way on a clear night, as there is a nice dark sky over the water in the back yard. We hiked in the park, biked a lovely bike trail ( rented at Inverness Adventures), strolled the beach, and enjoyed music at the nearby Doryman Pub. A great vacation! Managers are easy to communicate with. "

"Gert and Gus are the most welcoming and helpful hosts! We were so grateful for the gorgeous welcome basket, the contents of which we were able to enjoy for the entirety of our trip. The little cottage is absolutely enchanting, with its beautiful location, perched high on a hill with commanding views from every side. "What a perfect experience. Felt like home. From treats for the grandchildren to a lemon meringue pie in the fridge!,! A pie! Check in was effortless. Catherine answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Lavender house was close to all the activities we wanted to do as well as shopping. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
