Lovely family managed hotel

Local, family managed hotel, located on a beautiful spot of the river. Lovely vibe, and welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional!! It’s not a Holiday Inn /Marriott formulaic residence, much more of an authentic local hotel, so without some of the frills, but the honest warm welcome and great food more than makes up

Not a hotel for those wanting a good quality break

The hotel owner is lovely and friendly however the hotel was unclean and deco shabby and unlike the photos

We found staff very obliging and the accommodation pleasant, the only minor problem was the hand basin was to small to perform a normal wash as we cannot shower due to health reasons

The hotel is set in s lovely picturesque setting. Local to Lovely walks on the moors. My hotel room was clean. The shower pressure was very low and needs looking at. Breakfast was nice. However sometimes turning up with the wrong order or small portions. Overall a good stay, central to Bronte land and Leeds.

The outside pub was lovely. Room was perfect and bed comfortable. Property sits within steps of the Dales Walk.

Welcoming hotel/pub in great location

The Riverside Hotel had everything I was looking for - location, parking, wifi and somewhere to eat. Stayed one night booked a single room - very small but cosy and pleasantly furnished. Fish and chips served on the bar terrace overlooking the river was very good. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Just finishing refurb of all rooms.excellent ! Excellent food and real ales and great people. Only 5minutes walk into town which is ideal.

I liked the quietness of the location. I was able to relax in my room while the restaurant and bar were busy with people. Also, it was a great place from which to take strolls along the river.

Fantastic location with plenty of parking, very friendly staff, lovely comfy BIG bed and amazing breakfast! They were in the process of doing some improvements, so there were a few workmen about, but it didn't affect our stay. Highly recommended!

The staff were very friendly, but the bathroom needs upgrading, there was a strange smell of hot chocolate in the staircase and landing and the jazzy bedside cabinets were a bit too bling. It was comfortable though and the breakfast was okay.

Very comofortable. looked as though it had recentl

Delightful from the outside, and inside lived up to all expectations. Very comfortable, bedroom looked recently refurbished, very up-to-the-minute in décor. Staff great on arrival, felt very welcome. Breakfast deserved several gold stars. Pity I couldn't stay longer than the one night. Will definitely recommend.

Dated, tiny room, ridiculously uncomfortable bed

The hotel staff are very nice, cannot fault that. The building is dated and smelly, I am aware that this is an old pub but just because it is it doesn't need to be neglected. The room was miniscule and shabby but worst of all the bed was the most uncomfortable thing ever. Somewhere between a jumping castle a half filled airbed, truly awful. Again just because you're a pub hotel it doesn't mean you can just chuck in any old bed. Especially when you charge a 100 pounds a night for it.
