"Wonderful location just 45 minutes from Reykjavic. It is certainly out in the countryside, but it was nice and quiet. 20 mins to a grocery store and the kitchen was equipped enough for our breakfasts we made at home before heading out for the day. Very clean, and the hot tub was great. No issues whatsoever. "

"Highly recommend The Black Pearl for so many reasons. This was one of the few places that would work for our family of 4. The kids are now adults and one is very very tall so a sofa bed wouldn’t work. The apartment we stayed in was one of the best we’ve used. Check in was a breeze, and we lucked out being able to check in early. There is so much in walkign distance, we could have stayed at least another week just to see more. "The appartment was perfect for the 7 of us. We had the appartement on the top floor unfortunatelly with narrow staircases without a lift. That was the only negative aspect as we had to carry our bags all the way up."

"Great location close to rainbow street and other downtown points of interest. Clean, modern, nice appliances, comfortable beds. Good for a short stay with family. A little bit of noise from bars and downtown area at night, but wasn’t much problem for us on the 3rd floor. "

"Great location. Walkable. Close to shopping, dinning and sites. The room was spacious-especially the bathroom. I contacted the property managers and received a response within 2 hours. The bakery on the first floor, Brikk was lovely. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a sloped ceiling-I'm tall and hit my head a few times-lol."

"Really great location. Only a 10 minute walk into the town and to the coast. Lots of close bus stops and close to the BSI bus terminal too (About a 30 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride) Good sized room with TV and cooking facilities including a microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle and nespresso coffee machine. The walls are very thin so any noise in the corridors is very loud. Little to no traffic noise from outside. Really good for the price, would definitely stay again!"

"Our host was very responsive. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. Wish it had more towels, a pan for making eggs, different trash set up. Overall it was comfortable and safe. Very updated and clean"

We appreciated easy access to the laundry room. Limited parking in front of the building, so often need to park in the nearby streets."

"Place was very nice, only thing lacking was communication. I reached out prior to visit along with during visit regarding a late checkout, but never heard back until I tried and reached out to a different source. Hotel was very nice and equipped with everything we needed, would gladly stay again!"
