"I only stayed 1 night and the hotel was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely too. Dinner in the restaurant was ok at best. Breakfast was better."

"Why take your family away and stay in a faceless corporate hotel, cramped into one room, sitting on the beds, when you could be enjoying a lovely quiet rural cottage style family suite! Friendly, welcoming host, tasty continental breakfast - this is a very comfortable, spacious accommodation with all the amenities. The suite was perfect for us, centrally located, just a few minutes walk (no pavement) to the village, with some great eateries. "

"Brilliant accommodation, very smart and we all absolutely loved it. Definitely would go back again. Communication was excellent. Only one little niggle but nothing to do with the the property as such, I was dropping my car back during the day (about 4pm) and couldnt get parked as someone was having their car serviced outside the property so nonparking spaces. I did find a space across the road so all ok in the end. "

"Wonderful property! Beautiful bedroom - very clean - premium bedding. Delightful garden - huge with amazing wisteria which all enhanced our cream tea. Staff very helpful all over. Parking and unloading not the easiest. Breakfast was disappointing - practically cleared up buffet 20 minutes before end. Overall would absolutely recommend!"

"Central location, upstairs from the pub. Very quiet at night, rooms were generous and the bathroom exceptional. Linen and bedding was of a very high standard. Breakfast offered, £15pp . Dog friendly. Value for money, our expectations were exceeded on every level Highly recommended."

"Good things: lovely room & bathroom. Drink on them on arrival which was a lovely touch. Only downside was a droning noise at night coming from some power source, which made it difficult to sleep before about midnight when it stopped. It started again at 7.30am. We were in Delcombe room. Mixed breakfasts: my husbands full english he said was very good but my dippy eggs were not runny & my smashed avocado was overwhelmed with tomatoes, so much so that the sour dough toast was very soggy.
