Motel is in a perfect spot, small ride to the snowmobile trail. Always clean and plenty of space for trailers and sleds.

The room was nice and reasonably clean. The property was in the middle of being renovated and that's good, because it looked like it hadn't been since the 70's!! Location was close to town and area attractions.

Safe and clean! Those are my top two requirements on a quick hotel stop on a long road trip. A on both here! The late night staffer was very kind and accommodating as well.

We stayed up here for snowmobiling. Only complaints i have are the fridge was not plugged in when we arrived, the window was open and our tv did not work.

The Econolodge was connected to a Clarion. The main check in building looked like it had had a fire. However, the gentleman who checked me in was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.

Chicago Ski Bums approve Thank you -Room 120

Cute-cute snow country inn theme with apres-winter sports theme in lobby & rooms. Love the wood bench when I first walked in to room, more than enough room for a families boots & shoes to fit underneath. Very clean *thank you housekeeping* and two helpful employees on-duty for our 11:45PM was a nice surprise. Also there is HOT fresh coffee in lobby. Don’t let the fair price of this place concern you, its quite nice.

Close to grocery and hardware store. Fairly quiet location. Spacious and comfortable room. Smoke alarm covered over in room. Long wait for hot water. Exterior entrance door doesn’t lock.

Stayed in a new room. much much better than the old ones. I do like the vinyl floors.. but in the winter.. floor mats at the external entrance and in each room are a must..otherwise you get the floor dirty. The previous included breakfast was basic... but appreciated..and missed.

The staff was very welcoming & the room was certainly adequate for the rate, but the hotel itself is majorly lacking curb appeal. The roof that was once covering the convention area appeared to be caving in & the "grass" was all weeds. I actually had second thoughts about staying at this hotel based on the approach and appearance.l

Room had not been updated in a very long time. Second floor has a lingering unpleasant odor. King size beds had undersized blankets. Staff was very nice.

While the rooms had been updated, there was still a musty smell that my wife had trouble with. The conditions of the room was better than the condition of the overall property and hallways. The lower nightly price reflects the condition of the property. No breakfast.

The main lobby had caved in during the past winter which made the place look extremely sketchy when you drive up. That obviously wasn’t posted on the booking page. There was also a musty carpet smell in the hallway. The front desk person was helpful to us when we modified our reservation. The room was fairly clean.

Well when you first walk in it’s not friendly at all- One guy that had a hard time seeing the screen and then no hot water and No recommendations when asked where we can eat . Not clean at all and the smell was awful

The building was totally unsafe! Part of the building collapsed where the lobby used to be. The hallway was so filthy and smelled like puke! You could hear slamming of the door a 12 midnight to 3am. Its soo loud! Tge bathroom door woukd even close. We left after a few hours and they said there is NO refund. Terrible place!

The property was bad. The sheets were dirty. There was mold in the shower and pet hair all over the room. I could not sleep. I canceled the second night. Still waiting on a refund from expedite. The hotel said they would be the ones to refund me.
