Riverfront cabin with kayaks and canoes

Peaceful Shores Cabin is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom vacation home offering everything you need for a relaxing getaway directly on the river. The house has 4 bedrooms are furnished with 1 king bed, a crib, 2 queen beds, and 2 bunk beds (4 full beds). The cabin has 2 bathrooms, 1 walk-in shower and 1 shower/tub combo. We are located on the widest portion of the Apple River Flowage (600 yards wide) in Amery, Wisconsin a short drive from the Twin Cities.

Peaceful Shores Cabin has a private dock for your boat. Our family friendly rental property offers a canoe, paddle boat, 2 paddle boards, 5 adult kaysks and 2 youth kayaks to paddle around the river. You will enjoy fishing off of the dock in the peaceful water of the Apple River. Fish are plentiful year round, you will easily catch your limit of panfish summer fishing and ice fishing. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Crappie Muskie, and Northern Pike. The deck has an expanded patio which includes a fire pit and a screened in gazebo perfect for bird watching and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. A kid’s play area in the loft for gaming fun includes kid's toys, board games, puzzles, and a Foosball table.

Peaceful Shores is the dream vacation spot for the entire family, for kids and adults alike. Everyone will enjoy the wide variety of activities at our cabin escape, including kayaking, canoeing, playing yard games, watching wildlife, relaxing in the hammock, fishing, boating, making s'mores over the fire, and/or grilling out.

Our vacation property is located just outside of Amery, WI. Peaceful Shores Cabin gives you access to countless miles of ATV trails, hiking / biking trails, snowmobile trails on Cattail State Trail. We have adequate parking for your snowmobiles or ATVs. We are located near all of the essential amenities you would hope to find in a large city such as farm to table restaurant, grocery stores, ice cream shops, farmer's market, and small specialty shops. There is a swimming beach in the nearby area a short drive away.

Our property and linens are cleaned by professional cleaners following the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) recommendations prior to your arrival. We offer contact free check-in.

9 friends spent the weekend - just catching up and enjoying the fall weekend. The house had plenty of room inside and out for us to be very comfortable. The house was equipped well and was in a beautiful location. It was great to have kindling and wood cut for the fire pit. The walking path just across the street was peaceful and easy to walk on. If we had any kids with, they would have had many activities to do. The choices of games and videos and other toys was great. I would totally recommend for your family or friend get togethers. Would rebook anytime!

Once again this property shone brightly for our family vacation. The owners prepared everything perfectly, from the vast assortment of kid toys and play spaces in the loft, to the ample supplies, to the awesome open main floor area, to the patios, lawn and dock. We enjoyed our stay at the riverfront cabin!! Everything was neat and clean…kids had fun swimming and kayaking. Cabin was very comfortable. Would come back again and stay there.

Vacation

The place was very clean. The kayaks were a big hit with grandsons. Fishing was okay but the river does have a lot of weeds. We had everything we needed to stay. Washer and dryer was a big plus. Overall very pleased and we had a good time.

Great Cabin for the Family

We enjoyed this cabin very much. It's not really large, but the layout if super functional. We especially enjoyed: 1) sunfish-a-minute off the dock (fishing poles provided); 2) really cool bunkroom/playroom in the loft (7-year-old granddaughter wanted to have a midnight dance party); 3) canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and rowboat for fishing; 4) large wooden deck and paver patio with covered areas; 5) firepit and s'mores (firewood for 1 for 2 fires provided--more wood available nearby to purchase); 6) good climate control indoors; 7) comfortable beds; 8) great bargain shopping in Amery; 9) generous and accommodating host. I could go on. Everything was clean and well-stocked. Next time we might bring: a) electric trolling motor for the rowboat; b) FireStick or HDMI cable (no smart TVs, but tons of DVDs); Our entire group of ten had tons of fun. Our best cabin trip ever! Lovely!

We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful and lovely cabin with beautiful views and amenities. Loved having the water access and canoes/kayaks/fishing poles for use. The kids’ room with awesome bunk beds is also amazing and decked out with plenty of toys/space for playing when taking a break from the outside. Just fyi there is a neighbor’s medium sized dog that kept running onto the property/dock/deck- she was friendly and we are dog people but my youngest is a little afraid of dogs, so it was somewhat startling and unexpected at times.

High school friends weekend.

Clean. Nice amount of room for 8 adults. Outside patio, sitting area and fire pit were really enjoyable. Kitchen was well stocked. The two main floor bedrooms are very small. Would be nice to have ceiling fans in the two small bedrooms.

Fabulous Girls' Weekend

Our group of 8 had a fun weekend at Peaceful Shores! The photos of this home are accurate & it is well-stocked w/all necessities. We loved the outdoor deck/patio area & the fire pit. We ventured out in the kayaks and paddle boards, even though it was a bit weedy on this side of the river. We had fun playing the yard games provided. Very pretty sunsets over the river. A great house for large groups, with plenty of space, 7 beds & 2 bathrooms. Thanks for sharing your lovely river home with others!

The property was beautiful.

We had a great time there. Everything was great. We enjoyed the fishing except for the weeds. The fire pit on the patio was great for roasting marshmallows, playing games and telling stories. The screened in gazebo was nice for when the mosquitoes came out. The lawn games were available for us to use and the canoe was great to have. I would recommend this place for family vacation or for fishing. Two of the bedrooms were a bit small but the beds were very comfortable.

60th birthday getaway

My sister and I rented Peaceful Shores for my parents 60th bday present. We relaxed, kayaked, had bonfires and fished. This property was perfect for us and has everything there that we needed for a fun weekend!

Great fishing

Very clean and plenty of fish to catch. If you want a very quiet cabin and local area this is the one for you. river was a little too green with duckweed and plants to enjoy kayaking. Family enjoyed the camp fires at night.
