Great stay

Property was perfect for our large family. Dock was perfect for our boat. Large kitchen large family room great location. Parking was a little tight if you have a boat trailer that’s the only negative I could think. Don’t listen to negative reviews on this place.

Summer Vacation

We have stayed here on multiple occasions. House is clean, great location, with a pool and private dock. Only draw back to property is there isn’t much room for trailer parking. We tow a 24’ tritoon. In order to have room to park trailer we have to back trailer into driveway, disconnect from truck and park truck next to trailer. We have never had any problems but there is always concern someone will steal the trailer. Other than that, property is great. Owner is pleasant and very responsive to any questions or concerns.

Family Friendly and Accommodating

Cute house with everything you need for a family friendly vacation. Outdoor area is awesome with the heated pool and covered seating for the sunny days. Great location - close to grocery stores, restaurants and ice cream. No oven, but there is a brand new larger toaster oven on the counter that works just fine. Great coffee and hot chocolate bar for morning beverages. Loved the pool table and games available to play as a family. There were some sugar ants, but that was handled immediately by the owner and they went above and beyond for us with another issue, not related to their home or services provided. You can’t go wrong with this rental.

March break

My family stayed here over March break to watch some spring training baseball and relax in the sun. We had the best time at JJ’s beach house! It is clean and very well equipped, it has everything you need for everyone to have a great time. The pool is heated and we enjoyed it every day. The bikes and kayaks were a really great bonus and were definitely appreciated! Thank you Janice for the best week!

Disappointing Don't give this property another look!

We were very excited to surprise our children with a trip to Florida as a Christmas present and stay at your property with a private pool. Unfortunately, my Husband and I were disappointed with the property, and the issues we experienced. Bugs When we arrived the night of December 25th, there were 2 cockroaches along the patio doors and 1 in the bathroom. When we pulled out the kitchen trash can to take the garbage out, there were hundreds of small dead ants. This left us concerned with the overall cleanliness of the property as we were under the impression that the property had been thoroughly cleaned prior to our visit. Pool The pool was dirty. There were multiple piles of dirt/sand littered throughout the pool. In the deep end there was a collection of leaves and other brown colored debris. It is not a pool that I would want to swim in, or allow my children to swim in. The owner had said that it had been cleaned prior to our stay but it clearly wasn't. The owner also said the pool heater had been stolen and would be replaced the next day. They said the pool service people came out that day and would be returning the next day. When we returned that day, the pool was still not clean and the heater was not installed. They again said they would return the next day, when we messaged the next day to see if there was any progress on the pool, we were told it was forgotten about and the pool service would be contacted. We never heard anything more.The pool was dirty till we left:(

Clean, Cute and Comfortable

We rented this house for a quick little scalloping trip. The house was one of the cleanest I've seen, although there were some ants crawling around. The pool was perfect, and the outside furniture was very nice. The kitchen did not have an oven or dish washer. A dish washer would have been very nice to have on vacation since there were many of us eating every meal. The decorations were cute and there were a lot of restaurants nearby. The payment description was a little confusing. The listing states a maximum overnight guest number of 12 with additional guests $30. It does not say that it's $30 per guest, per night after the 5th guest which is the case. All things considered the positives way outweigh the negatives and I would be more than happy to rent this home again.

Wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

We stayed the Friday through Monday of Memorial Day weekend & had the absolute best time! We were able to check in early and settle in. There were a couple essential things missing in the house, dish soap, dish towels, extra paper towels, extra trash bags, but I did a quick DoorDash order from the Winn Dixie that is close & it was delivered quickly, without interrupting our fun! We brought a boat & navigating the nearby boat ramp and canals was smooth & easy! The dock at the house could use some work, half was very splintered & one of the kids got a splinter, but it served it’s purpose overall & the kids were able to fish off of it (with shoes on!). The kayaks provided by the owners that were in the garage were incredibly fun for the kids as well! They took them out every morning & evening & had so much fun! We only had a couple issues I needed to contact Janice about during our stay. We couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work & she gave me instructions to reset the modem, but I was never able to figure it out. However, the cell service in & around the house was great & Wi-Fi wasn’t necessary for us. The spicket at the top of the boat dock doesn’t work & we had to get Janice to get us a longer hose, because the hose provided wasn’t long enough to go from the side of the house down to the boat, so we could flush the engine at night. Janice was responsive & had a longer hose delivered the next morning. If the propane tank is out, you are responsible for refilling it! We will book again!

Amazingly updated property!

My family had such a great family trip especially because of this amazingly updated property. Sea Ranch on the gulf was everything and more!! It had all the amenities we needed, great location, beautiful pool, great dock and fishing! Cannot wait to come back the host was quick to respond and there if we needed anything!!

A church men’s fishing retreat

The rental is located on a canal that eventually leads out into the gulf and is located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a dock for fishing and a wonderful well lit pool. Eight men slept comfortably and all the amenities were provided. There were bikes, fishing rods & kayaks already there for us to use. We definitely plan on staying here again!

We had an amazing stay at jj’s beach house. It is an ideal location for a family vacation. There was everything there and we enjoyed every minute. Weather was perfect and location equally perfect! We will definitely come here again!

We had a trouble getting into the place. We were worried about the power getting shut off. The hot water was warm in the other bathroom. Main bedroom TV didn't work and living room TV worked sometimes and voice didn't work on control. Couldn't use the pool do to ducks and pooped in it. No beaches chairs available . I would rate this place a two

Awesome Getaway

Everything was great and we enjoyed our short stay. Would recommend to anyone that has kids since there is a pool, pool table, kayaks, bicycles, etc. Very family oriented.

Cute little beach house.

The property was well taken care of. The house was very clean and has extra supplies if we needed it. Things that I hope will change for next time would be comforters on all beds. The kids' rooms just had sheets, so they were cold at night. On a positive note, the house gets cold at night. I hope that they will add quilts or comforters to the two rooms with bunkbeds. The water temperature never got hot. It was barely warm which stinks when you want to take a hot shower. Lastly, there was no oven. I didn't realize this, and we had brought dinners that needed to be cooked in the oven. None of these were big issues and the house and location made it all worth it. We will definitely stay here again.
