"Wonderful cottage with all the kitchen items you need - toaster, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend."

"Askot Cottage was amazing! We definitely wished we had stayed more than one night. Directions were clear, property was well illuminated, and entry was easy. "This was such an adorable cottage (cozy and inviting)! The bed was very comfortable and I loved that there were blackout curtains. The hot tub was ready when we arrived so we could step right in after a long day. I would definitely recommend staying here, I only wish my stay had been longer."

"A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. "Glamping experience with nice amenities all around and a really unique lounge area in the barn. The main area is a large building and has multiple bathrooms and showers. The facilities and kitchen were a little tight for the amount of people when full, but ultimately worked out fine. The big surprise was the barn lounge area. I definitely recommend spending some time in what is a really cool and unique underground area. Overall, was a comfortable and fun stay."

"Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich wunderbar – es sind keinerlei Wünsche offengeblieben. (es war schon der zweite). Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, liegt in einer schönen, ruhigen Umgebung und der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus war für uns besonders praktisch. "The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others."
