"This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. They are friendly and welcoming. The chef there is fantastic! He is gradually changing the menu, but all the food we had was superb! Very good cooked breakfast, and the evening meal we had was excellent- try the Tandoori Lamb Chops,...

"We stayed one night last weekend, we had to be moved because the toilet flush didn't work but fortunately that wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are far enough away from the bar so as to be quiet. Our only small criticism of room 3 is that it's in the eaves and the shower screen is fixed so it is almost impossible to turn on the bath tap without actually getting in the bath! A silly design fault. The location on the river is lovely and it was good to have a drink...
