Located just north of Houston and minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport, this well-appointed three-bedroom is a quaint, small-town oasis surrounded by big-city amenities. Built in 1908 and lovingly updated, Boomtown Bungalow is nestled on Main Street in the heart of Old Humble, a pioneering early 1900s Texas oil boomtown. Take a break in the backyard and enjoy our newly installed putting green!

Aside from the comforts of this charming historic home, enjoy restaurants, bars, spas, golf courses, parks, and more--all within walking distance!

The private driveway will accommodate 3 vehicles with additional free street parking directly in front of the home.

The home has a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, towels, and WiFi internet.
Have lunch in the back yard under the Huge Texas Pecan and Pine trees or sit on the porch and enjoy the old Town surroundings.

Green Oaks Tavern is just a short walk away and has live music almost every night!

One positive, the mattresses were comfortable. When we checked in there was a terrible odor that we tracked to the kitchen sink. The disposal wasn’t working and there was rotting food just sitting in the drain. One of the bedrooms fan/light fixture was not working. One of the shower heads was unusable. I alerted Louis after check in and he assured me he would come the next day to make repairs but never showed up and we never heard from him again. There were other minor issues. One of the twin beds mattress support slats kept falling off while my son was trying to sleep. The fluorescent bulb light fixtures in the kitchen had no coverings and you can see right up to the attic. You can’t shut one of the bathroom doors completely. The deadbolt on the back door wasn’t working. The house is old and needs some tlc. Our main gripe was the smell from the sink and non working disposal, the fact that there were five of us and could only use one shower and having no light or fan in the bedroom.

Location was perfect, but there were several things that were broken, not cleaned, tv in main room didn’t work, garbage disposal was broken and the kitchen smelt terrible because of it so we did not cook due to this. The twin bed in the front room was not supported well and it fell with one of the kids in the middle of the night.

Perfect location for us from the airport and the location of the wedding we attended. A quick drive to Galveston so I could enjoy the weekend with my kids. Tons of shops around so we didn’t have to go far. There is a cute walking park about 5 minutes from the house that my daughter and I enjoyed. Close to Houston so if you want bigger things to do like TopGolf. It was the perfect location. The house was clean, the three bedrooms made it nice as I have older kids. It was a great stay!

Its nothing like what the pictures show. There is no coffee set up, no cleaning supplies, the backyard was a complete mess. For the price that we paid I was expecting the quality to be a lot higher

Cute and comfortable

Cute and fun. Walkable distance from so much in downtown Humble. Rooms are roomy and kitchen is stocked with dishes and cook wear. Beds are comfy. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms.It feels like a home.We stayed hear for my daughter to come into town for her boyfriend's prom.

First Time Using VRBO

The house was in the perfect area, so much to do for children. 2 parks within walking dustance, a roller skating rink around the corner and a trampoline park within minutes. The best part if the stay was the small bakery just up the street where you could get can getfresh breads and amazing coffee daily.

Great Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, plenty of room. Great location. The owners were super easy going and alway able to reach with questions. Highly recommend. If we arw ever in the area again we will definitely be back.
