Awesome location, great parking, with a park in our backyard

Next to walking track and community park. Plenty of parking, driveway runs from the street to the back property line. NOTE: Garage is Not a part of the rental. The house is off the main Blvd on a loop, so the traffic is light on our street, and non existent at night.
Just a few blocks away on St Charles Street you can find everything you need and want from Cajun food, live music, fast food, coffee shops, Ice cream shops. The Tex Mex restaurant La Caretta has live music out on the patio in the evenings, and brunch on Sundays. Other notables on St Charles street, Off the Hook, Cajun Meat Market, Rouses, Pj's coffee, Rotolo's Pizza and Gourmet house for takeout!

We do not allow long term rental. For stays over 7 days, Housekeeping is scheduled to professionally clean the home every Thursday, no contact.

Great property

This property is in a great location. There are stores and restaurants close by. The people are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. If you have children there is a park directly behind the house. They have two concrete cornhole boards and we bring our bags to play while the kids play at the park (this is our third stay). The owner is continuously improving the property and notifies us before each stay what improvements were made. We love this property.

Houma Hideaway

My family and I were very pleased with this home and its location. It’s very convenient to anything we needed, but shielded from the hustle and bustle in a great neighborhood. There’s even a park and walking track in the back yard! Highly recommend.

Great place with great A/C

It is a very nice house. Very clean. A nice neighborhood of comparable style and size of homes. Near to retail stores and some really great food. We enjoyed the burgers and staff at Pop's, Mr Po-Boy & Ocean Star.

2nd stay

This is a great property at a great location. There is a park right behind it that has been newly updated. It has a walking track, cornhole and plenty of stuff to play on for the kids. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Will stay here again.

This house is in a great location, beautifully kept, and so comfortable. We had everything we needed to make meals and relax. Owner stayed in communication with us to make sure all was well. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very Comfortable Home and Wonderful Host

We were in Houma for a family wedding. This home was in a beautiful area and close to everything. And everything was so clean and comfortable. Plus, Tony is the best host!! So responsive and helpful and texted us ideas of things happening in the area too. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Favorite home

This is our second stay at this home while visiting our son in Houma…Tony has been so great communicating both times. This home is convenient to the grocery, casino and civic center. It was perfect for us because we were in town attending a wedding and the reception was at the civic center!! This home is our favorite choice when visiting the area…looking forward to our next visit!

Beauty home,Just as described

We were visiting for my son’s wedding in Thibodaux. The home is just lovely and exactly as shown in the photos. To be honest, we did not cook any meals or watch the TV much, but there were kitchen supplies and a nice TV in the living room. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The house is close to stores and coffee shops. Rouses is an amazing grocery store and PJ’s makes good coffee. They stay was worth every penny.

Very nice

This property was great. The location was perfect, nice quiet neighborhood close to all the things we needed. The house itself was very nice and comfortable. Great communication with the owner and check in was so easy. Will never stay at another hotel as long as this place is available. Loved it!!!

Perfect location.

This place was perfect for our needs, not only centered to all of our wedding events but a very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed closing down our evenings of the porch. We did not get a chance to use any of the other amenities (fully outfited kitchen, nice television,etc), due to our busy schedule, but I highly recommend this house
