Spacious cabin accessing all of Colorado's outdoor adventure

40 acres and 3000 square feet of roomy log home with Hot tube accessing limitless outdoor recreation. Hunting the Grand Mesa, skiing Powderhorn, floating the Back Canyon of the Gunnison or fishing local rivers barely scratches the surface for things to do. Visit the local wineries of the North Fork Valley and feast at any one of the many restaurants in nearby Paonia. Skiing any top notch resort is well within your reach in every direction. Telluride, Powderhorn, Sunlight and Aspen are all within the shake of a lambs tail, 2 hours tops. When the day is done, come back to a cozy fire in the wood stove and gaze out at the beautiful sunsets. From this location, anything is possible in any direction.

If I could give this property 10 stars, I would ! It was clean, beautifully appointed and decorated, well-stocked with everything we could possibly need (kitchen utensils, firewood, water, toiletries) and the beds were ultra-comfy. The setting was awesome--very private, yet only an easy 5-10 minute drive from town. Kathy and Scott were attentive and available if needed (they weren't needed), but not intrusive or "annoying" in any way. We have actually not yet met them in person, though we would look forward to doing so. As much as I'd like to keep this place a secret, to make certain it is available for our next stay, I have to tell you it's THE BEST !

Absolute stunning cabin! We arrived after sunset and owner had all the exterior all lit up for our arrival. The rooms were all decorated beautifully and the beds were so comfortable. Everyone in our family still talk about the views from the cabin.

What a beautiful house in a perfect setting for astrophotography. I had 4 nights of new moon or no moon skies, totally clear of clouds. Truly a dark skies dream. We will definitely come back to enjoy the wonderful place.

Above and beyond our expectations

The home and property are in excellent shape. The interior is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen has every every appliance and enough settings for a large group. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated. Beds are very comfortable. Outside area is well maintained. Great views of the countryside from multiple seating areas. The nicest VRBO I’ve stayed in.

Hotchkiss Paradise

We frequent the North Fork Valley and it was our first time staying here just outside of Hotckiss. The place is fully decked out with anything you might need and it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Regardless of what you're doing in the valley this is a great jump off point for any adventure.. We will definitely book again!

Great base camp for exploring Black Canyon

Our family stayed at this amazing cabin for a few days while we explored Black Canyon (both north and south rims). It is truly in the middle of no where, which was cool. The kitchen has all the amenities you need and the beds were incredibly comfortable. There are nice things to do outdoors (horse shoes, corn hole, fire pit, etc) at the house. Scott was very easy to communicate with. Wish we were able to stay a few more days!!!! Easy drive to airport in Grand Junction. And town of Hotchkiss less than 10 minutes away (we had great pizza at T Bracket Pizza).

Great stay in Hotchkiss!

The property was just as described. It was very easy to get to, clean, and roomy! We stayed for 2 nights. The first night there were 9 of us, and the 2nd night, there were 5. There was plenty of room for everyone! The communication with Scott was great and he was very responsive. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

The entire experience was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. From the simplicity of booking, to the wonderful accommodations, it was an over all pleasure. The log house was everything a group of hunters could ask for, spacious, fantastically appointed kitchen, extremely comfortable beds and furniture, and well supplied towels and linens. We will be back in the summer with our wives, and also us guys will return next fall.

Paradise!!

This spacious open home was perfect for our family gathering. We sat out on the patio and dined and laughed for hours. The quiet and calm was peaceful and the surrounding landscape breathtaking. Fluffy white towels, gorgeous tiled showers, and natural colored silky sheets just added the the pleasure. Enjoy!

The home is beautiful and spacious with plenty of places indoor and outdoor to relax in or hang out with our entire group. Host went above and beyond in providing a TV as requested by our party. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are always appreciated.

Well Appointed Modern Cabin

This spacious “cabin” was lovely, tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Our host was quickly responsive to all communication, even anticipating our need for additional water. The panoramic views were incredible, including lots of wildlife, birds, and a few rodents that were taken care of prior to our departure. No surprise, given the remote setting! A very pleasant stay!
