Part of a one-acre four-cottage sanctuary, Avalon Cottage is a wonderful, relaxing getaway for couples and small families. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Lake District, our charming studio cottage in Hot Springs invites you to experience the perfect getaway. Imagine yourself relaxing in the cozy living area catching up on your favorite shows on the large internet-streaming TV and ... when weather allows ... enjoying our spacious outdoor deck with view of the lake. As you step into the fully stocked kitchen, you'll be delighted by the array of modern appliances, from the stove and oven to the refrigerator and dishwasher, allowing you to easily prepare delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations al fresco on the grill, or simply unwind with a refreshing beverage. When it's time to retire for the evening, retreat to the comfortable queen bed and new queen sleeper sofa, where you'll find plush linens to ensure a restful night's sleep. Venture out and explore the nearby attractions, including the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort just a 6-minute drive away, the historic Bathhouse Row just 9 minutes away, and the stunning Hot Springs National Park just 10 minutes from your doorstep. Our property offers fun with a boat dock to tie off your boat, a boardwalk shoreline to toss a lure, and a swim deck all in our commonly-shared cottage setting. (NOTE: Lake Hamilton's water level is drawn down November through February every year, and during this time boats cannot reach our dock space). With amenities like WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, and games for both adults and children, this cottage is the perfect home base for your Hot Springs adventure.
