The couch cushion was ripped from the bottom. Overall nice place. Would choose a different room location next time. "

"Great resort to stay at that's right next to the Village. Parking is valet only but cars come out pretty quickly. The hotel restaurant serves good food if you don't want to venture out further to eat. There was a Jacuzzi and a heated swimming pool that the kids got to enjoy. Water and ice dispersers located on every floor. Breakfast is included with the stay so it was nice to have different types of food to eat before heading to the mountain!"

"We were moving my mother’s belongings for her in a U-Haul, but decided to take a scenic route through the eastern Sierras and have a couple of nice stays on the way. When I pulled up in front to check in, the bell hop seemed annoyed, even condescending that we had pulled up in a U-Haul. He rather snidely informed us that there was no parking for over-sized vehicles, and then directed me to move it to their loading dock doors (the vehicle was not blocking the driveway in front of the hotel). "Super quaint property with cabins uphill from the lake. Nice main lodge with continental breakfast and great (upscale) restaurant in the main lodge. "

"The beds were very uncomfortable, seemed like very old mattresses. The coffee pot had an old used filter still in it, making it obvious the coffee maker was not cleaned. This property is old and needs updating. The strong smell of Lysol or other cleaning product did not match the cleanliness. The staff was very friendly. "

"Location! Location! Location! The hotel is a bit dated, but the staff was friendly, the bar was fun and the walk to the village and gondola was a breeze! "

"The location was prime! Lots of restaurants, bars and breweries within walking distance and a short drive to the mountain. We enjoyed our updated room at the Sierra House. It seems some things are still under construction as the building was very new but that didn't bother us a bit. The steam and sauna are slightly outdated but again that doesn't matter to us. We really enjoyed our stay!"
