"This location can't be beat for convenience, everything is within a few min walk and if you want to experience Akihabara and shop electronics, collectables, games, it is perfect for it. My only complaint is that the pillows they use in the rooms are super airy and way way on the soft side, your head just sinks right in till it becomes flat as a towel, be prepared for that if you need harder pillows."

"Great little hotel in the heart of Tokyo. Literally directly across from the JR station connecting you with Chuo-Sobu line. Two stops from Akihabara (Electric Town) and seven stops from Shinjuku. Short walk to Tokyo Dome and a plethora of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. The food for breakfast is delicious and they also have bar and dinner service. The staff is ample and very helpful. We were very happy with our stay!"

"Hoshinoya staff and the propoerty dynamic are settled to diminish costs and not to serve the clients as it's supposed a high rating hotel. It's my second stay in Hoshinoya, I had previously had a poor experience at Hoshinoya Okinawa and unfortunately again at Tokyo's one. Die Reinigung der Zimmer wird alle vier Tage angeboten, die Handtücher werden aber standardmäßig jeden Tag gewechselt, was keinem nachhaltigen Konzept entspricht. Der Zustand des doch recht neuen Hotels war anders als erwartet. Am ersten Tag löste sich die vorher bereits sichtbar geklebte Zierleiste an einer Ablage. "The carpets in room had a wet shoe smell, so we had to keep the air purifier on, thank goodness there's an air purifier. Small rooms same with most hotels in Tokyo but smart design to utilize the space under the bed for luggages storage. Three beds family room was nice with twin individual beds on tatami. No bathtub."
