Thoughtfully furnished accommodation with private entrance and dedicated off street parking, set within 7 acres of owners grounds for guests to enjoy, and share with the resident sheep and chickens. and wildlife.
Double bedroom with crisp linen. Bathroom with bath and hand held shower head. Large living / dining room with wi-fi and well equipped kitchen.
Bike storage if required. Garden seating and outdoor furniture for guests use.
Ideal for holidays, working or visiting friends and family in the area. Please note there are stairs, so do ask any questions before booking if you have any additional needs - we will always answer as quickly as possible!
Maximum stay 28 nights.

Close to the historic market town of Horsham, with two cinemas, a theatre and sports centre, and a myriad of bars, cafes and restaurants. Horsham has a pretty, traditional market square with cobbled streets and frequent free street entertainment and musical performances in the bandstand. A park and large nature reserve with wildlife trails and observation huts add to the great outdoor facilities, as well as all the countryside walks and, a little further afield, coastal visits.
Horsham's supermarkets include Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tesco, as well as a range of chain shops. Many local, independent retailers and stalls offer a wide variety of wares the market area and surrounding villages too.
Horsham's 'street culture' is a great attraction, and a lovely way to enjoy a lazy sunday breakfast or lunch, with cafes and restaurants. Choose independently produced cheese, local reared meat, baked cakes and breads, and speak with local, gin, beer and wine producers in the market area!
Surrounded by stunning walks and engaging villages, National Trust properties, independent vineyards and other attractions.
The Oaks offers ample dedicated parking to guests within 7 acres of gated garden and fields, with sheep and chickens.
An ideal stay, for leisure, or when working or visiting friends or family in the area.

What a beautiful property, inside and out! The host / owner was incredibly nice, responsive and helpful. Serene atmosphere, calm & quiet stay, and the animals shown in the pictures are right out back! For colder months, the radiator heating was more than enough. If you'll need access to commerce (stores, restaurants, etc), I'd suggest having a car. Very highly recommend this property, and I look forward to staying again!

We were made to feel so welcome at The Oaks by the lovely hosts.The accommodation is beautifully decorated, cosy and spotlessly clean and set in an amazing garden. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

Lovely stay

Emma was a lovely host. The cottage was comfortable, clean and a perfect location for exploring Sussex. We loved the sheep and deer in the fields nearby.

A lovely, first floor annex with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The small balcony and windows in every room give views of the garden, and the wonderful trees that surround the property. A peaceful retreat for any traveller.

We‘ve had a wonderful stay. There is just one tiny thing, walking short distances is not possible in the area outside of Horsham.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely, quiet area. Only suggestion would be to clearly state that this is an upstairs appartment. We are in our 70's and we had to be careful going up and down. Emma was a very gracious host!

Short but sweet stay

We had a quick one night stay with an early departure to catch our flight back to Canada. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds, dinner at the pub down the street and a quiet night in. Emma was very easy to communicate with and helped us quickly with anything we needed. We enjoyed the sound of the birds in the morning. The sitting area is large but the minimal furniture made it a little hard to get comfortable, but overall a lovely stay with the English country charm we were looking for.

A Superb Week in Sunny Sussex

We very much enjoyed our stay in the beautiful setting in the Sussex countryside just outside of the fabulous market town of Horsham. It’s a very spacious apartment nicely decorated and comfortable. Emma the host was always on hand if we needed anything but we didn’t as it was just perfect. We thoroughly recommend this property and its beautiful grounds. We were sorry to leave but will definitely be back.
