The room and facility was fine, but this small town has very little to offer. We chose Hofsos because of the Sundlaug pool and hot baths, but they were mostly closed for maintenance.

Frændgardur
This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Hidden Cottage with indoor hot tub
We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. Steinn Farm Private Apartment
Very clean and comfy apartment attached to a family home with nice view of the water. Not sure what kind of farm it is but the apartment is surrounded by vehicles, cars, trucks… A semi blocks the only window viewing the North. Also, there is a clothes washer but no dryer (only small drying rack)
