Rooms and kitchen were clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and had anything one needs. The location is great and very quiet.

Ungepflegte und heruntergekommene Unterkunft. Haustreppe im Engangsbereich: Stufen ausgebrochern. Licht, Steckdosen usw. fehlerhaft, bzw. ohne Funktion. Geschirr in Küche war eine Zumutung. Für die gebotene Leistung war die Unterkunft viel zu teuer. Ich werde jedenfalls in nächster Zeit nicht mehr bei Expedia.de buchen.

The first issue is the address shows it's in Hofn, when it's 30 km away. And you have to drive the last several km on a rough road filled with potholes. The wifi did NOT work and the bathroom light shuts off automatically after one minute - NOT conducive when taking a shower at night or making a restroom trip in the middle of the night. The property is very dark so this is a terrible practice. The view was lovely but the property is dated. The stairs to the front door are cracked and falling away, and I almost fell walking up them after going into Hofn for dinner (see comment about the property darkness. It was clean, though.

This place was wonderful! The location was my favorite part, and my window view of the stunning mountains, waterfalls, and glaciers was simply breathtaking. Though the room was small, it had everything I needed, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I definitely recommend this place to others!

At the foot of a spectacular mountain, dramatic back drop. Small rooms ,like many private guest houses in Iceland. But beds were comfortable, just passing through.

當日冰上健行，鑽石沙灘後入住一晚，第二天前往東部小鎮非常方便；厨房設備一般可普通煮食，房間細小，有兩個共用浴室，其中一個感應燈有問題，冲涼期間會熄燈，門鎖開關有些問題。

A remote cosy guesthouse ideal for travelers.

A very cosy and comfortable farmhouse. The host was welcoming and thoughtful. Providing us with many necessary amenities. Although it is not modernly finished, it is definitely a recommended stay in a remote area.

Casa un po' angusta, doccia con muffa, padelle e pentole totalmente inutilizzabili. Sarebbe meglio cercare altro. La cosa più bella di questo alloggio è l'esterno che, essendo isolato, ci ha permesso di vedere un aurora boreale pazzesca! Per le nostre esigenze è andata bene, non la consiglio per soggiorni più lunghi.

Établissement très propre. La chambre était spacieuse. La cuisine aussi, il manquait d’un peu d’accessoire comme une passoire par exemple. Deux salles de bain donc c’est un bon point lorsqu’il fait partager. Nous avons eu de la chance nous étions seulement deux couples de voyageurs.

The guesthouse is very run down. Our room, the wardrobes were broken and the lights were hanging out of the wall. The bathrooms were very dated with poor water pressure, and the kitchen is far too small if all the rooms are occupied. The only saving grace was the beautiful view outside.

This property was wonderful! Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our room of the mountain was fantastic. We could not hear people once everyone was in their rooms, even with some loud snoring from our neighbor. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cutlery. The only small drawback was no working lights or outlets in the bathrooms, but with the sun not setting until midnight, this wasn’t an issue

We booked this because it was one of the cheaper options, so we expected it to be basic, but it was far more run down than expected. It looked like it hadn't had any investment for years. Several kitchen cupboard doors were missing, and the fridge sounded like it was about to give up. We specifically requested a twin room but were given a tiny double room that was barely big enough for the bed. As it was self check-in, there was nobody available to contact, so there was no opportunity to resolve the issue. The property is 4.5 km down a rough dirt road, and the smashed-up car outside didn't make a good first impression. With self check-in and people seemingly able to come and go, we didn't feel comfortable leaving our belongings there. The shared kitchen was very small and would be difficult to use if the property was busy. After an uncomfortable night's sleep, we left at 6:30 am. For only a little more money, we found much better accommodation elsewhere in Iceland that also included breakfast. We wouldn't stay here again.

Bigger rooms.. They had coffee maker & microwave in kitchen.. Bigger room.. One of the cheaper accommodation in the area.. !!This guest house not have front desk.. it is little off the ring road.. Road leading to the property is terrible..

Decent view, not super close to anything though. Purchased the additional cancelation coverage, that was false advertisement, it is an insurance policy, which I declined on the next page. Had some personal extenuating circumstances, and had to cut the trip short. After explaining to the property, they said they would charge me the full amount as a cancelation if leaving a night early. Absolutely no comoassion. Just a disgusting money grab. Theres also a sign in the Kitchen that the included vreakfast is for breakfast only and they will charge each person $20 if caught taking food to go (there are cameras in the breakfast area). There are other places, which are nicer and not greedy. Room was small, and freezing, heater wasnt working properly, nor was the TV. Would not recommend staying here.
