We had an excellent 4 night stay at Cap Town Hotel. Its location in District 1 was very convenient where we practically walked everywhere - sightseeing, shopping at Ben Thanh Market and Saigon Center, walking to watch the water puppet show at night, and trying out numerous delicious restaurants in the area. Our beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning, mostly Asian items, including some days serving pho noodles or Banh mi, and fried eggs fresh to order. The hotel staff provided services that exceeded our expectations. Our room was cleaned every morning with toilet paper and towels replaced. Breakfast server was attentive, refilling empty stations, clearing tables and bringing us our pho or egg order. Hotel bellman was friendly and helpful, greeted us with a smile, offered us umbrella when it was raining, and assisted us with our luggages. Some staff spoke limited English, thus sometimes you may need to repeat or clarify. This hotel was very reasonably priced compare to other hotels in district 1. For those planning to take group tours, most tour groups will pick you up and drop you off if your hotel is in District 1. So if you want to stay in a basic, clean, well priced and conveniently located hotel that includes breakfast everyday, we recommend you to consider Cap Town Hotel in HCMC.
