This single level Sea Pines home on a quiet street is U-shaped with sliders opening to the fenced deck and pool from the Master Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen and den. The spacious Brazilian Walnut deck area features an outdoor shower (with hot & cold water), pool (with underwater lighting for nighttime swimming), numerous chairs, chaise lounge, and a glass-topped umbrella table for outside dining.
Our smoke-free, pet-free home has bright, large rooms and is perfect for families and/or large groups as it has two large living areas- a living room and a separate family room. It also has a Master Bedroom Suite, 2 other large bedrooms, and a smaller 4th bedroom/nanny suite with its own full bathroom.
The house has 2 indoor eating areas- a dining room with a glass table top for 6 and an eat-in kitchen with both a table for 6 and bar stool seating for 3 at the granite counter tops. It is a short bike ride to the Sea Pines beach club.
Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of paved biking trails, Lawton Stables with a live petting zoo, public golf courses, Racquet Clubs, dining, shopping, and full operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach Marina Village with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment.

Enjoy walking or biking miles of leisure trails to the Sea Pines oceanfront Beach Club on the Atlantic Ocean, or Harbour Town and its famous lighthouse overlooking the Calibogue Sound, or the Salty Dog Cafe at the South Beach Marina.

Bad to worse

Opening door met by smell like a place that had been unoccupied a while, musty. Pool very dirty.Pots and pans needed cleaning. Tub dirty. Chip crumbs bedroom. Shower door needed work. Unit needs a lot of attention. Day we were to leave, wife stepped out and onto very slick steps due to build up perhaps algae. ResultBroken leg, 3 broke ribs and fractured back.Required transfer to Savannah for surgery. So as i write, she in hospital until able travel home and i am in hotel, needing to get home, missing an eye surgery, spending unplanned money.Not a good ending.

June Family Vacation

This is our 2nd time staying at the house. We all love the big bedrooms and the pool. Location is close to bike & walking trails which we enjoyed. And close to many HH attractions and the beaches.

Relaxing week

The place is nice and in a good location but the hole in the floor covered by plywood was inconvenient. I understand things happen but nothing was said about it till we got there. There is nothing engineered about 5/4” pressure treated lumber that’s around the pool which was cold water. The place is nice and could use some updating it but we had a good week.

Great stay at 8 Old Military Road

We spent a week at Old Military Road. House was very clean, well maintained and everything worked as expected. Pool area was very nice. We were extremely pleased with the property. Check in was easy. We would highly recommend.

Great house. Bigger than expected. Wish the showers were bigger. If you are a larger person you wouldn’t be able to move in the shower . Loved how spacious the house was. The pool area was awesome. My family and I really enjoyed our week stay.

Large home with great layout and location

We love HHI and this trip didn't disappoint. 8 Military Road is a great location -minutes to the beach and a short bike ride to Harbour Town or South Beach. The house was great fit for our family, although some of the house is a little outdated the layout of the place wrapped around the deck and pool area, perfect for a family enjoying the sun and the outdoor shower!

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised. Nice layout, clean and Sea Pines is great. House needs a little TLC but but nothing that impacts your stay.

Great Location

The location was perfect for us and was a good value for Sea Pines. Teens loved the pool. The home was not ready until 4:30 for check in. (I know staffing is a challenge and turning over many units in one day is hard AND we drove very early in the morning to avoid traffic and arrived early. We were frazzled by 4:00 and would have appreciated the home being ready at 4. The management company did give us our vehicle passes early and we greatly appreciated that.) Surprise Pro: The home came with 4 bikes. I was not aware of this amenity. Surprise Con: No grill/grilling allowed. I was not aware of the lack of a grill on the property. As a summer vacation, I count on grilling as our main source of meal prep. I bought a grill pan and had it delivered, but this was still not optimal (cooking for 7 on a two burner grill pan takes much more time than on a standard family size gas grill). Overall good value. I will be checking my rental listings more carefully in the future to be sure I only rent a property with a grill.

Nice and clean, needs some updates

We liked the house and it’s set up. Cozy and the kitchen was great kids loved the pool and access to the beach was good. However, I was disappointed at the old stained carpeting throughout and the deck needs stained and pool spruced up. I don’t mind if the decor is dated but expected more in terms of floors, pool area. Also the towels and dish cloths were thin and in some cases frayed and worn.

Great stay at Sea Pines

Great home for family to spread out. Could us a little updating, but stay was great. Tropical Storm Else came through and left a mess on the property and around the pool. Management did their best to get contractors to clean up, but we were unable to use the pool at the second half of our stay.

Family Vacation- 2021

House was perfect for our family! Perfect location, pool, bikes and grandson loved the tiny bedroom. However, the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. We had to wash them all. They could upgrade the coffee pot it was really worn out. The front entrance is the first thing that you see and there cobb webbs every where. The pool deck had not been touched and lounge chairs would be very nice out there. Other than those few areas, WE LOVED THIS HOUSE!!!!! Keyless entry is wonderful! WE WILL BE BACK!!

Amazing

The property was inviting and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The entire island, property included, was grand. We fell in love with all of it and honestly, none of us wanted to come home. Thank you so much for the memories. We will definitely be back.

HILTON HEAD GOLF ADVENTURE

Great house for us five golfers....lots of room, good sleeping options, good kitchen and eating areas and a lovely pool and deck....well located in Sea Pines.....golf in the Sea Pines Resort is very expensive so we had to venture outside, however on Hilton Head there are plenty of golf options to choose from.....really nice housing for someone putting together a golf trip.

COVID safe place

Wonderful house for our family of five. We cooked a lot of meals at the house as our daughter is pregnant and didn’t want to go out much because of COVID. All the pots and pans you need; however no spices at all- not even salt or pepper. (Only mentioning so next person knows) Pool and deck was fantastic! We enjoyed it everyday! Plenty of SUN during the day and nice shade when the day progressed. Enjoyed the Doc Savage books! And puzzles when it rained. If there was a broom and mop in kitchen I would have cleaned the floors in the kitchen.
