Recently Built House! Pets Stay Free! Close to Amenities

You'll feel right at home in our new house. The front door opens up to an open concept layout that includes the well stocked kitchen, dining and living rooms with floor to ceiling height , a sunny Carolina room and the master suite. The second floor offers a second master suite, bedroom and a large room that doubles as a den and bedroom. Everything you need is here including soap, dish washing detergents, laundry detergent, paper products and linens, including beach towels. There are 3 TVs and wifi, as well as board games for indoor entertainment.

A large private yard with views of the lagoon and golf course offer opportunities for activity and relaxation. If you want to venture outside the Estuary, our gated community, you can walk or bike (we have 3 adult bikes for your use) to Fish Haul Beach (12-15 minute walk). This is a small beach with public restrooms on Port Royal Sound. Larger swimming beaches nearby - such as Folly Field and Burke's beaches - are about a 5-7 minute drive. Other points of interest within walking distance are Mitchelville Freedom Park and Fort Howell for the history buffs among you.

The new Estuary community is located in the "heel" of Hilton Head island. This location is close to the bridge that takes you to the mainland - Bluffton and beyond, but only a15-18 minute drive to Coligny Beach. We are close to the airport, hospital and public library, as well as many restaurants, stores, golf courses and beaches.

We're sure you will have a relaxing, fun-filled visit. Here's to making new memories!

This home was very well stocked and the space was excellent for puzzles and games with family (important because it rained for most of our stay). The immediate neighborhood is fairly new (2021) and very nice. We did not love the beach closest to the home and ended up driving further to get to the Atlantic facing side of the island. That said, we have never stayed on the northern end of Hilton Head and it was very convenient for short trips to the outlets, Bluffton, etc. Overall, this was a great place and felt more like being a guest in a home rather than being in a rental.

Extremely clean and spacious home! Only "issue" was the AC did not cool the master bedroom downstairs, which was extremely warm in the summer temps. We found a fan that made it more bearable & made the owner aware. Overall, we loved the home & appreciated how well stocked it was in the kitchen & in regards to sheets, towels, and beach equipment! :)

Lovely house in a great location

The layout of the house is great for a large group. It’s an easy walk to the beach or you can drive or ride bikes to other nearby beaches that are only 10-15min away. The house has beach gear available and bikes you can use to get around. It’s located in a cul de sac in a small gated community and just behind it is a pond where we saw an alligator.

Lovely quiet neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is set about 10-15 mins from the hustle and bustle of Hilton head in a quiet neighborhood. The place was well stocked and made our trip super easy from the moment we arrived. We would stay there again!

Perfect family vacation home

This home was perfect for our big growing family. It was clean and convenient. The location I perfect and makes getting around much easier. Access to the “extras” provided by the owner gives you everything you could possibly need for a beach day and neighborhood activities if you’re just relaxing at the house. We will be back.

Great space for large family

We filled the home with people and dogs and felt comfortable in the common space, but also appreciated our individual bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked, water pressure in the showers was great, and we felt comfortable and safe in the cul-de-sac gated community. We even got to see some gators in the pond in the backyard! The house was a short drive to multiple beaches, restaurants, and shopping centers. It was close to a couple parks and public pathways as well. We were able to have a cookout using the grill in the garage. The host provided plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, and even a beach cart. It was very helpful having access to the garage.

Perfect Wedding

The home was absolutely perfect for our large group. We were in Hilton Head for our daughter's wedding. Having such a nice place to stay that was so close and convenient made for much less stress. The host was very responseve and accommodating. Thank you!

Best VRBO home we've ever enjoyed

Our family enjoys getting together from our three different cities on occasion at a VRBO property. This is the best home we have ever stayed in. The host provided lovely extras, the home was perfect for our 6 adults and 3 kids, everything was clean and pleasant. The home is so tastefully decorated with great art, yet it felt very livable for our three grandchildren. The home is in a quiet gated neighborhood where the kids were safe to ride their scooters, but not far from the nearest beach or putt putt. If you want to be right on the beach, you won't choose this house, but it is an excellent location to enjoy all HHI has to offer.

Sheila was an excellent host. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, gallon of milk, and a nice selection of teas. Space was homey and comfortable for multiple-person family. Perfect Snow Bird Getaway!

We loved everything about our stay! This beautiful home is in a very quiet area of HHI, yet close to everything. Fish Haul Beach is the most natural and peaceful beach on the island and just a short bike ride away. Our hosts thought of every possible convenience. We have spent most winters on HHI since 1982 and would rate this house higher if we could!

A wonderful week

My family had a wonderful week at Sheila's home in Hilton Head. The house is beautiful - the open kitchen/living area felt spacious and was a great gathering and game-playing area. The house is very well-stocked with pots/pans/plates etc. The location is great - we enjoyed walks at the nearby Fish Haul Beach and it was an easy drive to other activities (golf, mini golf, ocean beaches). Sheila was quick to respond to our questions and very gracious and welcoming. We would love to visit again.

Best Vacation Ever

The house is fantastic, and its location is perfect! We biked 101 miles and walked 55 during our 3 weeks. With the help of our bird "app" we heard over 20 different birds while walking. It was amazing to be able to walk or ride right out the front door. This being what we called the quiet side of the Island, it was seeped in history which was well documented and displayed, and we learned a lot. Pepper, our Aussie, loved Fish Haul Beach, and we loved being able to walk for miles on hard sand. I'm sure Sheila ordered the 3 weeks of sunshine, and we enjoyed every minute. So much so that we have booked another 3 weeks in the spring in this lovely home with its beautiful artwork and most accommodating host.

Family time in Hilton Head

This house was the perfect home for our extended family of 5 adults and 2 grandchildren. Plenty of room for our under 1 year old grandbabies to crawl around and to also keep track of them due to the open floor plan. The house was exactly as listes and impeccably clean. We would stay here again if visito2ng the area again.
