Due to Hawaii`s warm, tropical climate, it`s not uncommon to occasionally encounter small critters, even indoors. We take great care to manage this by regularly cleaning and treating the property, but the natural environment can sometimes invite these little visitors inside. As a friendly reminder, we do have a regular pest company servicing our home.

Additionally, please be aware that the local frogs can be quite vocal at night, which may keep you up if you`re not used to the sounds of nature.

No Shoes Policy: To ensure a clean environment and avoid carpet/rug stains, we do not allow shoes indoors.
No Party Policy: To ensure a peaceful environment, parties are not permitted within the premises.

Smoke-Free Environment: Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited indoors to maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere.

We offer a pet-friendly environment. Pets must be approved prior to reservations. Please reach out if you plan to travel with your pet(s). The fee is $100 a pet per stay and $50 for an additional pet for a maximum of (3) pets. If you have an approved pet, please clean up after your pet both indoors and outdoors. Additional cleaning fees may be charged.

Responsibly Flush: Please only flush toilet paper and nothing else (This includes baby wipes and “flushable” baby wipes). Any plumbing clogs will result in a repair fee.

The VRBO description truly doesn’t do this place justice. To our pleasant surprise, the property felt wonderfully private and secluded from any nearby neighbors. It was spotless, cozy, and immediately welcoming. The view from the bedroom window was stunning, framed perfectly by the vibrant foliage beyond. Check-in and check-out were the smoothest we’ve ever experienced, and the host was exceptionally accommodating. The location was ideal—just a short walk to downtown and the farmers market. We’ll definitely be returning, assuming we’re not priced out after all the well-deserved glowing reviews. Well done!

No street parking. The 20 steps going into the property was not safe. No lights except for the motion light entering the property. Inside the property was scary and dark. When mentioning the 20 steps they did not show a picture of steps. They showed a picture of steps on the cottage so I assumed that was the steps they were talking about. Overall the worst was not getting the code to open the front door of the cottage. I kept trying to communicate with the host before arriving and during my arrival. We meet a couple that was staying there and he to was helping me get in touch with the host.This happened around 10pm at night with my husband and dog in the car while my daughter and I was trying to figure out what to do. I really think I should get compensated for the difference that I had to spend for the inconvenience that was caused by the host. He left a message 3:08 am saying he apologized about the whole situation in which we didn’t receive the code. At 3:09 am he asked if we checked in to the property. I’m assuming he thought we were going to wait around for the code. I’m so disappointed and frustrated of the whole situation. I spent an additional $500 on a place where there were no kitchen for me to cook. I bought a cooler full of food that was wasted along with what I bought at Walmart. So basically I lost money on food and had to go out to eat. I’m done….,
