Wow. This is the finest unit in the Mauna Loa Shores. Fully renovated, with all the finest amenities and beautiful tastefully designed to maximize this fantastic condo. The best unobstructed view from the Bedroom overlooking the Blue Pacific, and the Lanai. You will absolutely love this new offering. Everything is brand new. High ceilings in Penthouse, with full of light and cool breezes with the best air circulation. Custom kitchen, everything you need to make your stay in Hawaii and our Big Island memorable. Same owners as 710 which has been the ultimate destination for many a year. NOW we offer 706. 2 brm 1 bth. My 46 years as a resident and 43 years as a Realtor will insure you know where to go and what to do to make it the finest Big Island experience possible.

The Mauna Loa Shores is right next to Carlsmith Beach Park which has fantastic swimming and snorkeling. Usually you will always swim with the sea turtles, EZ access protected reef. The beach park itself is lawn with huge shade trees (monkey pod). Absolutely the place to stay in Hilo. The Mauna Loa Shores has its own swimming pool too, 2 elevators, laundry room on each floor.

East Hawaii side is authentic Hilo, not overbuilt like Oahu or Maui, truly you will fall in love with Hilo as the owners have. Our Big Island has it all, every climate and terrain, eco-tourism at is best with volcano watching, hiking, beautiful tropical gardens, ocean activities, swimming, snorkeling, and most of all relaxing. Away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of Oahu, Maui, Kona.... Hilo side is truly paradise. Book with me and you will see and agree.

Did not disappoint

The property was exactly as described. We could not have asked for anything more in our stay. The host thought of everything, down to the drying racks for laundry, snorkel gear, and a pair of binoculars to enjoy watching the activity in the beautiful lagoon behind the property. We stayed in March and were able to leave the windows open for a fantastic breeze the entire time. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay!

We loved our stay! The property is very quiet especially as this unit is on the top floor. The location is perfect; situated right next door to Carlsmith beach and only a few minutes from Richardson Ocean Park. The condo was very clean and has all the needed the amenities. It was an easy drive to Volcano National Park, restaurants and the grocery store. We really enjoyed staying on the Hilo side of the island (such a great vibe; especially the Friday night market). Would highly recommend this condo to others.

Beautiful setting and a peaceful stay

We really enjoyed the condo, especially the view and being right next to Carlsmith park. We would walk and look for sea turtles almost every night. We also loved cooking in the nicely stocked kitchen. We plan to return!

Beautiful view, great location

Had a nice, relaxing stay here with our two college-age children. Beautiful setting for relaxing on the balcony in the morning or evening, and taking a short walk or swim at the adjacent park. Close to everything we wanted to see and do in Hilo and the east side of the island.

A perfect stay

I can honestly say this condo was easily as attractive, comfortable and well outfitted as advertised and we loved our stay there! The view from the Lanai was gorgeous and the wealth of passing birds was, from that height really fun to watch. The supplied binoculars was another very nice amenity! When we return to the big island, this will be our number one choice!

Paradise Location and Unbelievable Views

This condo was a total score. Gorgeous interior! Fine art everywhere. Everything you will need for a luxury stay. We put all the contact in our phones for future stays. A one of a kind property. Fantastic Location

We had a great stay at Terry's place. The location was perfect for our itinerary, and the view is divine. We loved sitting on the lanai with our morning coffee, looking out over Carlsmith Beach Park. We found everything we needed for our week on the Big Island, including a cooler to take picnic lunches with us, folding chairs that came in really handy, and snorkeling gear and beach towels. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed for breakfast and dinners at home. It was really nice to have the laundry room just steps down the hall, too, and there were laundry baskets and detergent and things provided. Terry and the property manager were both prompt and solicitous during our stay, and sent over a really nice list of restaurants, attractions, and other suggestions. We went to Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens on their recommendation, and it was indeed a highlight of our trip. Thank you for a wonderful week!

The view is the draw!

This unit is on the top floor, with a magnificent ocean and bay view, overlooking the beach park. The unit is nicely laid out with a compact kitchen (which is lacking a dishwasher), a living room/dining room combination, along with the two bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a wall of windows overlooking the ocean and bay. The other bedroom has a view of Mauna Loa. Both bedrooms have very high legged beds, 35 inches to the top of the mattress, made for easy viewing of the water and mountain, but making it a bit difficult to get in and out of, especially if you are mobility challenged or a shorter person. The television entertainment, in the living room and primary bedroom, is mostly Roku TV, and apps for numerous other services. The internet access is free and fairly strong. The one bathroom is small, but functional, with a bathtub and shower combo, which is setup nicely with grab bars. The lanai is large enough for a loveseat and two wicker, cushioned chairs, and a table. The lanai was our favorite place to sit and either read, play games or just enjoy the view. Again, the view is fantastic!The parking space for the unit is conveniently located directly across from the building main entrance.The condo building is very secure, with a key system for the ground floor elevator, making it difficult to get up to the condo units without an elevator key. The property is well maintained and quiet, in general.

Best location for visiting Hilo

Gorgeous setting and nicely renovated apartment. The room with the ocean view and the lanai are stellar and bring in the nightly sounds of crashing waves and the surrounding rainforest.

First time in Hilo!

The view from this condo can not be beat. We so enjoyed watching the sun rise and set from the lanai, highlight of our trip to Hilo. Very clean and well kept condo with the most comfortable bed, pillows, and sheets. Great location next door to Carl Smith Beach Park - turtles can be found all day! Can run on the road right outside the condo which was handy for us. The hosts provided clear check in instructions and many excellent recommendations of things to do and where to dine. Moon and Turtle restaurant provided the best meal of our trip! If you are looking for a condo in a quieter, not as touristy location this is the place for you.

Happy in Hilo

We were blessed with sunny days to enjoy this perfect condo! We did the Volcanoes, coconut island, Queen Liliuokalani Gardens, cafe Pesto and swam/snorkelled in the lagoon with some fish and 3 turtles. We hope to come back next year!

Hidden gem in Hilo

The condo was very well appointed, clean and the views were absolutely stunning! Walk to Carlsmith Park to snorkel with the sea turtles, The Seaside restaurant across the street was amazing! The property managers were extremely helpful & responsive! I highly recommend this stay!!

Great location

Super views and right next to the beach. Place was very clean and roomy. The lanai was perfect for both morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. Close to everything. If you arrive after dark be sure you have a flashlight and some patience as locating and accessing the key box is a challenge. Would definitely stay again.
