"The stay was good and a y issues were quickly rectified by the owner"

"The location was great for our 2-family party of 8. The quiet surroundings were wonderful to experience and get away from it all. The property is well stocked with all the impliments and utensils you could need. Relaxing on the dock or spending an evening at the campfire gave us time to reconnect and recharge. Though we enjoyed our time and the property, a little more attention to general maintenance and in particular the dock area would further enhance guest experiences."

"The property and surrounding areas are perfect for families. There is something to do for everyone. The beds and cottages are nasic but comfortable and totslly worth the value. "

"Wow! This place exceeded our expectations on every level. Nat provided us with excellent communication and made us feel very welcome. The inside of the cabin was something you would expect to see in a movie! It was very warm, peaceful, and all appliances/necessities/utensils were provided.When we couldn’t get the fireplace to work the first evening, Nat has a service person in the very next morning to have it fixed.A great all-around experience."

"The property was as advertised. Great dock and water. Very nice cottage. Great bbq (a bellwether for a good cottage). Owner followed up with me, rather than the other way around. Easy check in and check out. Not a bad thing to say. "

But honestly, once we settled in, we didn’t feel the need to go out much. The rustic charm of the cottage made it easy to fully relax and focus on, well, each other. "Our group enjoyed our stay at Cliff Haven! Jeena was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. The place was well stocked and had such a cozy vibe! The only issue we encountered was with one of the bunks being quite shaky and we felt it was unsafe to use.Overall a great experience and we'd definitely book Cliff Haven again!"

"I would definitely book this cottage again. We were at a wedding in the area so the location was perfect. Our family of 4 had lots of room to get ready. Both the living room and the kitchen was perfect for hanging out. If it didn’t rain all weekend we would have made use of the outdoor deck and backyard fire pit. I’m really happy we found this cottage. "

"This is a nice small cottage that is clean and maintained well. The cottage location is also good - there are at least 4 towns and villages within less than 40 mins drive, not counting the Kinmount. The Kinmount itself is a place with a rich history, and there is a location there that you should visit and its just 10 mins walking from the cottage -the Highland Cinemas. This is something very unique and I dont think you will find something like that anywhere else. Despite the size of the village...

"This was a really nice place to stay with family for a winter getaway. Hot tub was great, main area was cozy and we were really happy with how well stocked the kitchen was. Highly recommended! "

"Had some time to get away and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Everything was exactly as described. Nice seclusion. The host was friendly and offered his services at a moments notice. The private lake is gorgeous. Don't forget to bring your fishing gear! Would recommend and hopefully will return in the future."

"This property was beautiful and the house was so clean!!! The kids loved the small little beach and thought the paddle boat was fun! We visited late October, so we cuddled around the fire and made campfire bread during the day. Exploring the town of Bracebridge was great. We cooked up a storm in the awesome kitchen. Walks along the quiet road were rejuvenating. Spotted a snowy owl. Book your stay here, you won’t regret it. 🙌 "
