  • Welcome to Solomon’s Beach Bungalow! This home is a private oceanfront home right on the beach with spectacular views! This beach house is located about 25 min from Freeport in East Grand Bahama. This home is at the end of a street with no active neighbors, you will have a very private trip; you may not even see anyone else while your at the property! Our manager will meet you at the airport; Transportation can be arranged from airport to the property via the Manager, but we suggest renting a car as well. Property was recently updated/renovated with new appliances, AC, landscaping, gas grill, and furniture! The home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home, with 1 of the baths on the first floor for accessibility and washing off after coming off the beach. Solomon’s Beach Bungalow has a huge, screened porch along with another sun deck to gather in the gorgeous views. This home is on an area called “Turtle Reef” known for sea turtles, some of the coast is rocky with natural reefs off the beach, which is amazing for snorkeling, swimming, and fishing! At high tide more of the reef is covered and tropical fish are everywhere, and at low tide you can still snorkel around reefs but a beautiful beach emerges to lounge and relax as well. Amenities that are included in the rental are bath towels, beach towels, linens, cookware, dishes, and more. For the beach activities we offer 2 Paddleboard/kayaks, snorkeling gear for adults and children, and life vests also for adults and children. Several local restaurants within 5 minutes away, or grocery shop in Freeport on way out to the Bungalow. The Manager can also arrange for groceries to be picked up prior to arrival if desired as well, to make your stay even easier! Any questions feel free to send a message; Enjoy your Trip!

Our host was very responsive and helpful figuring out things to do etc. the house was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, there are very few people around, but never felt unsafe.

Relax and unwind in PARADISE!!!!!

This place was amazing, the views and privacy was exactly what we were looking for. It’s a little drive from town but we took our groceries on way out and cooked at the house; water is crystal clear and great snorkeling! We even found some conchs!

Beautiful and Remote

It's a bit of a drive to get to the property, but is perfect if your are looking for a remote location. At high tide, you can paddleboard right from the house. The host were very easy to communicate with and were friendly and helpful.

Best way to vacation in grand bahama

Just as advertised. If we come back to the island, we will stay here! Just bring groceries, and no reason to leave the property.

This place was absolutely amazing!! The owner was very accommodating and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved staying here and are actually trying to plan a trip back. The house had everything we needed (hammocks, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear and beach chairs). It's quite secluded and we had the entire beach to ourselves. You do need a car to get around since the house is a bit away from everything.

Getaway from it all

I took my son and his girlfriend for 5 days. The house is in a very remote area but if you are looking for remote, it is perfect! Paddleboards, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling- all right outside your door! Cool national park with incredible beach minutes away. The host and property manager are AMAZING! Constantly checking on us!

Outstanding Stay in High Rock

Lovely property in High Rock right next to the Atlantic with views of the ocean from every window. Situated 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Freeport, this rental is perfect for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy the sun and surf. The rental was exactly as listed, and the property owner was one of the most communicative and helpful we have ever experienced in our stays in VRBO properties (he gave us an extensive list of places to eat, things to do, places to see and all were just great). An outstanding property and an outstanding rental experience -- thank you for a great trip!

Perfect Place to Relax

This was a perfect place to stay and just what we were looking for. Away from the business. Only saw two people walk by whole week. Andrew was great and met us at car rental place and stopped at liquor and grocery stores on our way out. We for most part stayed on property and in that area. Place was just as advertised. Very up to date. Didn’t want for anything. Thanks for a great stay!

We really loved Dan’s place! You couldn’t ask for a better view. It was a great place to get away from it all. My 9 year girls loved being able to explore the beach and we found tons of beautiful shells. Great snorkeling as well! I think we saw one other person walking on the beach during our stay. We did get some no see um bites at sunrise and sunset especially, so it was nice to have the screened in patio, Would still recommend some bug spray or pants during those times. Leland, the property manager was also super helpful. I recommend his restaurant which we went to twice in 3 days, high point restaurant and bar. Thank you Dan! It was so lovely!

If you want to stay at a quiet, clean, relaxing, safe place, this is it. We cannot say enough good.We found everything in good working order. Any time we needed anything or had a question Leland, the property manager, who lives close by was on it quickly. Having a washer and drier on the property was a great feature. We were there for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute.There is everything there to make sure you have a great time. The front porch is such an amazing place to have coffee and watch the sun rise in the morning and watch the sun set in the evening. We fished from the beach and caught fish and saw other ocean things. The whole time we were there, we only saw about 3 other people on the beach. At low tide you can search for shells and crab and small fish in the tide pools on the rocks in front of the house and walk on the sand bar to just enjoy the ocean. Be sure to get groceries before heading out as town is a ways away and who wants to keep going into town. The words "magical place" came up numerous times.

Absolute privacy stunning location

Stayed for 10 days with my family. It was easy to find located right on the beach. Stunning beach and view. We loved the screened in porch. This beach house had everything you could want and then some. Washer dryer, a/c, plenty of hot water, really nice landscaping and parking. While there the owner had two new paddle boards delivered to the house which was really nice of them. Everything worked perfect. There are easy steps down into the ocean. Freshwater picket right out front to wash the sand off. It’s a super safe area. We never saw a car or person the entire 10 days. I think it only took 30 minutes to drive to Freeport if you wanted to go out to eat. Truly this place has everything. We are hoping to go back next year again it was that good.
