Convenientemente ubicado cerca de atracciones populares del área y actividades al aire libre, Fern Creek Cabins ofrece alojamiento de vacaciones asequible durante todo el año en las hermosas montañas del sur de Virginia Occidental. Nuestras dos cabañas se encuentran en 40 acres privados de bosque de cicuta virgen, cerca del borde norte del río New River Gorge National. Ambas cabañas cuentan con bañera de hidromasaje, pozo de fuego al aire libre, parrilla de gas, cocinas totalmente equipadas.

Para aquellos que solo quieren relajarse, Fern Creek Cabins ofrece mucho espacio para recorrer la propiedad. Nuestras cabañas tienen cómodos porches equipados con parrillas y bañeras de hidromasaje, fogatas al aire libre y mucho espacio hermoso en el patio para lanzar herraduras o jugar softball.

Si bien nuestras 2 cabañas comparten la apacible reclusión de los Apalaches, están a solo unas pocas millas sobre New River Gorge Bridge hasta el centro de Fayetteville, llamado 'La ciudad pequeña más genial de América'. Ven a visitarnos y da un paseo. Encontrarás un distrito comercial vibrante y restaurantes fantásticos, ventanas para navegar con mucho para comprar y un hermoso parque de la ciudad.

'Endless Wall Trail' se encuentra a una milla a la vuelta de la esquina que recorre una de las maravillas de New River Gorge: el acantilado ininterrumpido conocido como Endless Wall, que sigue el borde del desfiladero y ofrece acceso a docenas de rutas de escalada atornilladas. This was the perfect spot for our family while we visited New River Gorge National Park. The place was incredibly clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. With 2 adults, 4 kids, and a big dog, we had plenty of space and didn't feel crowded. The surrounding land was remote and peaceful with a little pond where the kids found baby frogs, and an epic tree swing. The hot tub and fire pit were so nice to use in the evenings. The host was super responsive and kind. We felt right at home, and will definitely stay again when we are back in the area if they aren't already booked!

We loved this little, secluded cabin! It was perfect for what we wanted. Our dogs were able to roam the yard freely in the open yard without worry. We loved the yard for playing games, lots of fishing took place, and ended the day in the hot tub! If you want a nice private cabin the whole family will enjoy then this is the one!!

Private cabin with great views

This cabin had it all: privacy, quiet, wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch, awesome wildflowers in the fields near the cabin. We stayed in June and saw fireflies like never before. We did the bridge walk and white water rafting, and those were a conveniently short and direct drive from the cabin.Even though it was really hot, the ACs in the cabin kept us comfortable.The check-in and check-out processes were well explained and easy.We would definitely stay again.

Exceptional Stay

We (my wife and I with 2 dogs) stayed here for 3 nights. If you are looking for a nice clean, comfortable place to spend some time in the area don’t pass this place up! It’s pet friendly but you would never know, from the moment we opened the door we knew we were in a VERY CLEAN cabin, there was zero pet odor and not one hair to be found. Even if you are looking to stay in the area and you don’t have pets I would still highly recommend this place. It’s far enough away that you have none of the hustle and bustle but close enough to be convenient to all the attractions in the area. We will definitely return!

Excellent cabin near several prime locations!

The cabin is lovely and well stocked. They’ve thought of everything. It was a cozy option near several tourist attractions and drivable (1 hour) to even more. It is a quiet location with two cabins. Nice hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor porch areas too. We enjoyed the on property trail and nearby hikes like the Endless Wall and Gorge. Our cell hotspot worked nicely and we enjoyed the large movie collection too. We highly recommend this spot, if you’re looking for a getaway that is within a quick drive of the Gorge and you want to avoid the crowds. We liked the seclusion and peace.

I had seen previous reviews and this property had a 10 so I had to see for myself. It does live up to the rating plus more. So clean and had everything you could image. Very quite and private. We took our family pet and she had so much fun also. It is close to activities in the area, including nice hiking trails. Communication and from owner were outstanding. We will be back to take advantage of the other fun things to do.

Absolutely perfect slice of "Almost Heaven"

We arrived to a perfectly clean and prepared cabin. I can not think of one thing the cabin did not have that we needed. Some may say WiFi but you come here to leave that behind. This home sits o ame place twice because life is too short and so many options to try.  This is the first place I would definitely stay in again if and when I'm back in the area.  We had a great time and stayed 2 extra days last minute.   The property owners were so great and made us feel welcome.  I highly recommend if you are looking for a great get away spot this is one you should give a try.  Just perfect.   n top of a hill away from everyone and everything but so very close to everything you could possibly want to do or see.  The New River Gorge was great to visit and to hike some of the most beautiful mountains.  The New River Gorge Bridge Walk was absolutely worth it.  Great views and great staff!  Lots of waterfalls and sights to see.  I always say that I would never stay at the same place twice because life is too short and so many options to try.  This is the first place I would definitely stay in again if and when I'm back in the area.  We had a great time and stayed 2 extra days last minute.   The property owners were so great and made us feel welcome.  I highly recommend if you are looking for a great get away spot this is one you should give a try.  Just perfect.

Easter weekend getaway

Clean, peaceful property with lots or little to do! Girls enjoyed the movie collection, hot tub and catching spring peepers. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch.Close to several hiking trails and NP.

Exploring New River Gorge

We wanted a place relatively close to Pittsburgh to explore and found the perfect spot! The area is lovely. The restaurants such as “ Pies and Pints” and “Secret Sandwich Society” were delicious. The whole experience of hiking and walking the bridge at the gorge was incredible. Our stay at Fern Creek Cabins was the icing on the cake. I have high standards for cleanliness and the place was spotless. Kitchen had everything you could want, and the whole cabin was very comfortable. The frogs peeping at night were very calming. We talked about coming back in the fall to see the leaves in the area and will definitely book this cabin again.

The best of times

We loved our time at Fern Creek Cabins. It was the perfect get away. The property is just enough removed from town that you enjoy the peace of nature but within minutes you can be in the middle of everything. Access to trails was great. Coming back to the cabin and enjoying the hot tub and puzzles and board games, it was just extra sweet time

Great cabin

The cabin is in a great location close to a lot of great hiking trails, overlooks, and parks. It’s also within 20 minutes of restaurants and stores. The cabin has everything listed. I will say the road in is a bit bumpy and a little troublesome but other than that it is a great place to stay.

We had a great time seeing all the sites near the New River Gorge area. This cabin was nice and cozy, very clean. Being able to turn the gas heater up a bit after being outside in the cool weather sure does warm the bones. Cabin is on a quiet dead end drive. Road is narrow and had a small washout from all the rain, my only complaint but not Toms fault.

Perfect cabin for a climbing weekend

The cabin was perfect. Everything we needed, nothing we didn't. The hot tub was nice during the chilly evenings. The cabin was well stocked. Communication with the property manger was quick and easy. The location was close to endless wall and a few minutes from Fayetteville. Perfect for families or friends for a NRG excursion.
