Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, a Hiawassee mountain home with a gorgeous year round view of the Appalachian mountains and Lake Chatuge. Enjoy a large porch with western exposure. This home has 3 bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms with TV's are on the main level with 2 full baths. One bathroom has a tub shower combo and the other has a jetted garden tub. Fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer on the main level and a second washer and dryer downstairs off the kitchenette, The living room on the main level has a large sofa and sitting areas with a beautiful view of the mountains and a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen table has seating for 5 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter. A spiral staircase leads to a downstairs second living area with a large pit group sofa for reclining to watch movies or TV. Downstairs also has a kithchenette with a second refrigerator, microwave, stove and sink. The third bedroom downstairs has king bed and TV. A full bathroom is also downstairs as an ensuite to the king bedroom. A separate area has a pool table, TV and seating with access to the outside lower level. There are two 4 person high bistro table a regular height around dining patio table that also seats 4 people. Extra bedding for children or petite adults on 2 padded cots with sheets extra linens. Camera over parking area only for safety. Two steps to the main floor from the parking area and wrap around balcony. Come and visit Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, you will not believe the view!

The space was huge! Each bedroom set was gorgeous with views of the forest and/or lake. The upstairs kitchen area was ample for cooking and, together with the deck-side grill, we cooked up a really nice birthday meal.On top of that, the owners were very responsive to our inquiries and ensured that we had everything that we needed. This rental was truly a pleasant surprise as it was under our tight vacation budget. We had not expected to have this much room on such a budget. Highly, highly recommended!

It was very clean, but issue with the grill not working was a little time consuming and hard to plan meals. Host brought a new one which was nice. Being able to check in before 4:00 and check out a little later would be nice. Staying 2 nights was more like a day and a half and it was a little pricey. It is a very nice place.

The property is located up on a steep hill in a narrow driveway. You have to make a 3 point turn when you get there. You’re rewarded of the spectacular views of the mountains and the lake from the porch however, once you get there. There’s plenty of room to move around. There were 4 of us and we didn’t feel like we were crowding on each other’s spaces.There is a spiral staircase to the bottom floor which took some getting used to. My wife and I took the bed below and I had to carry our luggage from the outside stairs down to our bedroom. Not much hassle. Like I said, it just took some time to get used to it.The owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of advice on where to go shopping, points of interest and so on.Overall, we enjoyed staying here.

Peaceful Getaway

Mother’s Day Retreat

A beautiful location with all the comforts of home. Conveniently located near local shops and restaurants. The drive up the mountain took a little getting used to but was manageable. The view from the deck is stunning. Our family found the home to be very comfortable and enjoyable.

PERFECT!!!!

This was a perfect house for a get-away! First of all, the view was breathtaking. Pictures can't do it justice. We only used the upstairs of the house and it was great. The kitchen had every pot and pan we needed (we did bring our own foil and plastic wrap and were glad we had.) The bedrooms were quite large and comfy and they had a view of the mountains. We spent quite a bit of time out on the deck. Plenty of seating and, again, we could not tear ourselves away from the view. Inside, there was plenty of space and comfortable furniture to sit around. We are already looking at our calendars trying to figure out when we can go again! This home is extremely close to the grocery store, gas stations and a Walgreens so even though we felt like we were on our own mountaintop, we could easily dash out if we needed to. Karen was VERY attentive and quick to respond. We had a great long weekend here!

Awesome place

This was one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed at in a really long time! The views were fabulous and it was a really relaxing vacation for me and my husband. The house is 2 minutes away from town so that is really convenient. Overall it was a wonderful vacation for us and we definitely plan on returning in the future!

Great house, loved the view. Everything on site you could need. Close to town and lake. Karen the property manager is the best. Kind, helpful, diligent, knowledgeable, caring. Can’t say enough about her. Made checking in and out a breeze. Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy everything Hiawassee has to offer.
