New Listing!
1940's era restored farmhand/cowboy bunkhouse. Its rustic exterior was retained to exemplify its age and origins, but the inside has been updated and remodeled for your comfort. One bedroom, bath, living room w/ kitchenette. Be advised that the all-original ceiling logs have a clearance (head room) of 6'-5", and are spaced every 30", so if you are taller than 6'-4" this would be uncomfortable for you.

The cabin is located on our small farm in the south end of Henrieville valley. The farm originally belonged to my great-grandfather Harry Quilter, (hence the name Quilter Cabin) and changed hands several times over the years, until finally I was able to pick up this portion of the original farm. The previous owners of my property lived in this 385 square foot cabin for seven years while building their strawbale homestead next door, where the property manager (our son) now lives.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the vintage cabin. The amenities provided in the kitchenette were an unexpected added touch. The decor was so appropriate with the variety of quilts, homemade curtains and such. Good directions provided as well.

We had an excellent stay in this cute little cabin. Very clean, well organized, and comfortable. Well stocked with essentials if needed. Quiet environment, we slept great. Perfect get away to enjoy the nearby national parks. We also really enjoyed the booklet that had been pretreated by the hosts. Filled with emergency resources, food, and trail recommendations, we felt prepared and excited to explore.

The cabin is quiet - this is important to us. The bed was good for our backs. Cabin is so clean and electric heaters kept us warm. We were able to find the property in the dark because the host sent us detailed instructions on how to find the property. Thanks for a great stay. :)

Perfectly remote yet close enough to Bryce Canyon at the same time The cabin was a fantastic base camp for our daily adventures. Well laid out and furnished. We would come home at the end of the day and cook supper, relax and sleep in this cosy nest, and would wake up to a beautiful view of fields and mountains, One of the highlights of our trip! Many thanks!

Knew the cabin would be rustic and it was nicer than we expected. Went for the dark skys of the area so the location was great, unfortunately couldn't control weather so we didn't get to see much. I would recommend to others

Nice clean, quiet cabin near BCNP. It is a little off the beaten path, but comforable and cozy. My husband I enjopyed our stay. I highly recommend.

Ok this place is amazing. I almost stayed one more night but I really wanted a night under the stars camping! I will be returning! The house is the cleanest and cutest property I’ve ever stayed at. It’s WELL worth the money. My only regret is not staying there longer!!The bed was comfy, shower was hot, and the setting was perfect. This felt very authentic and like you were in the heart of a piece of history. I can’t wait to return!

The bunkhouse was the perfect slice of staying in a quieter part of southern Utah - the renovation of this historic building was well done, and arriving after dusk to the soft glow of the warmed-up kitchen and bedroom was the perfect end to the day. Bed was comfortable, TV/technology great, functional kitchenette. Lots of nice little touches - it was a great place to stay for exploring Bryce/Grand Staircase and heartily recommend it! Just the best option for a cozy, warm, cute, and "close to everything" stay. We stayed in Nov, it was cold outside but warm in the cabin. Everything one needs is there. Gorgeous views, great walking trails, and quiet. We will be back. Highly recommend.

This was a lovely little cabin with great views and even better sunsets. The location was a great base for doing some hiking in Bryce and Escalante NM, and is even within range of day trips to Capitol Reef via the beautiful route 12. Kitchen was well stocked and we had no issues during our time there. Thanks!

We live in a resort town, so wanted to be away from tourist crowds. This was perfect and just a short drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. Charming property! Highly recommended for peace and quiet!

As I previously reported, this place was a disaster. We turned around and did not stay there when we saw how bad it was. I do not understand how VRBO can present a property like this. Someone needs to go there and inspect it. It does not meet VRBO standards which I am used to.
