We were asked THREE times if we were part of a group checking in. We weren't. She scowled at me when I asked when wine and cheese was served and said "oh, you want wine??? "It was warm hot but property hadn’t switched over to AC so was given a standing fan. Incomplete set up in kitchen. Had to ask for bowl and spoon, which staff was able to find. Charming property. Next time, will try to get a room that faces street. Great, helpful, knowledgeable front desk staff. "

"We were in Room 220. The door was ajar when we got there. The carpet was wet. The light by the door was very dim. I went to turn on the light by the bed and the nob to turn the switch was broken. The other lights in the room was for the bathroom sink and the toilet/tub area. I took the lamp from the bed area to the front desk and asked for another. There were none available. Maintenance came by about 10 minutes later with a lamp for the bedside and he noticed we did not have a desk lamp. He came...

"They called it Retro. I'm not sure what they were going for. I had a Standard Double Room. The room was clean, and had a refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker. But it did not have a comfortable chair -- in fact, no chair at all -- to sit in to watch TV or read. When I talked to the Manager, he brought a folding beach chair and pushed the beds apart to make room. And it did not have any rug, which would have been nice. And hardly any horizontal surfaces to put things on. Lots of drawers, though....
