Angler's Den~Kerr Lake Life! Lake Front, Kayaks & Boat Dock

Our lake front retreat (entire lower level apartment) is tucked back in a quiet cove where you can enjoy warm sunny days floating on a raft, kayaking or swimming. Fishermen love our location, only minutes from Nutbush state park where numerous fishing tournaments are launched. Golfers also love our location only a mile away from Kerr Lake Country Club. You may encounter bald eagles nesting in the pines along the shoreline or swooping down to snatch a fish from the lake surface. Sitting on the dock enjoying the summer breeze, dozing off to sleep between the pages of that novel you have been wanting to read is another great option. You will no doubt want to experience the breath taking sunsets before you head back to the house where you can strip down and take an invigorating outdoor shower. Cook up dinner in the unique live edge kitchenette or you may prefer to Bar-B-Q outside on the grill. The (lake life) experience isn't complete unless you build a roaring camp fire in the patio fire pit and roast marshmallows. Nature calls here at the Angler's Den. Pet/ dog allowed with pet fee, see house rules. No cats allowed due to allergies. Come be our guest.

Sara is a lovely person/host. The Den is a wonderful place. Very relaxing and had everything you would need and then some. It turned cold while we was there, there is a very cozy fireplace in the sitting area and we never got cold . I would highly recommend Angler’s Den. You will be pleased. My husband picked this place out and he is not easily impressed and he was very impressed. He was pleased with hisself. Thanks Sara

This was our 2nd stay at the Angler's Den, and it was the most relaxing and beautiful getaway I could have asked for. The setting is truly unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the lake right from the back patio.The cabin itself was spotless and charming. Loved gathering at night around the fire pit.Communication with the host was excellent; they were responsive and helpful from start to finish.We would highly recommend Anglers Den to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed lakeside retreat. We're already planning our return trip!.

Our family had a great time at Anglers Den! The space was laid out very nicely, kitchen had everything we needed and great proximity to the water!Scott was so thoughtful as well. She bought our dog a little squeaky toy and had a dog cover for him! Highly recommended!

What a great place! Kayaks are right there to take out. Comfortable beds. Gorgeous property and saw deer strolling through. Scott is a wonderful host and made some suggestions for places to eat and things to see. Really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back!

Girls trip

The host we can’t say enough about, absolutely wonderful, the place is so clean and decorated so nice. It was very relaxing and wonderful time with friends. It was everything and more of what we wanted. The rental was clean, spacious, beautifully maintained grounds and the dock great with the sunset centered over it.

Adorable

This is the perfect place to slip away, relax, and make the best memories. The den is absolutely perfect, adorable and the host literally has anything you need already there. We would stay again and again. The sunsets are breathtaking. The boat dock was perfect for our boat to jump in and cruise the lake anytime we wanted. Fishing off of the dock was fun and we caught some catfish. Our kids enjoyed kayaking and we will cherish the laughter and lake fun for years to come. We had the best experience and hope to come stay again soon!

Could Not Have Been Any Better!

I nominate this host and our visit as the best I have ever had! Couldn't have been any more accommodating to us. The dock was perfect for my boat and we even had the use of their golf cart for getting back and forth. Circular drive made parking the boat and trailer very easy and the area has a variety of launch ramps withing a few miles. This place is perfect for fishermen and foks that just want to enjoy a quiet peaceful vacation on a lake.

Was just what we needed.

We were in town for a tournament and this was a perfect location for us. Covered car port for tackle prep, plenty of room and a very quiet neighborhood. Proximity to the ramp was a huge bonus!

Angler's Den Delight

Angler's Den is a lovely property located in a quiet locale immediately adjacent to Kerr Lake. It is very cozy, beautifully decorated, and appointed with every convenience for the guest. There were notes all about the apartment explaining how to operate appliances and other helpful, friendly tips. We would definitely like to visit again!

Great Getaway Spot

Peace and quiet

Anglers den is lovely. Scott has made it aesthetically pleasing and has thought of everything to make it comfortable. We were exhausted from a busy season and this place was just what we needed to recuperate. We also enjoyed swimming in the lake, paddle boarding and fishing. We definitely will go again and recommend this place to our friends and family.
