"Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "

"Had a great overnight stay before meeting up with all our Family. The staff were so accommodating. They even organised a room just off the lounge so that our family could meet up for coffee and the three grandchildren could open their Xmas presents. The hotel is beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable and we even saw a woodpecker on the grounds. Thank you Ansty Hall."

"We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."

"The original room we had was lovely - however, we had an issue with the tap in the bathroom and we were quickly assigned another room which wasn't quite as large but still really nice - the receptionist then offered us the choice of two other rooms for the second night of our stay - we chose the larger of the two and was not disappointed. "We stayed just the 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and full of character. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The breakfast was also lovely with great views. In all we couldn’t fault the place and will definitely stay again when in the area."
