Offering a comfortable interior with a full kitchen and an electric fireplace, this condo will place you within easy walking distance of downtown and Helen's many festivities. Come home from days spent hiking, tubing, or shopping to enjoy the outdoor deck that overlooks the water.

What's nearby:
This condo sits on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, just a few blocks from the center of Helen. Outdoor adventures are right outside your door, whether you choose to fish for trout in the river or take a walk through Unicoi Hill Park. Downtown Helen is also home to many Bavarian-style shops, restaurants, and an annual Oktoberfest celebration. You can play a round of miniature golf, float downstream with rentals from Helen Tubing & Water Park, or learn about the area's culture at the Helen Arts & Heritage Center.

We stayed at this little Gem for 3 nights and Loved the location, nice comfy king bed, and the Back deck over looking the river! SO relaxing to watch and listen to the water flowing about while having cocktails or sipping coffee. We would love to co.e back.

The location of the condo was great. Just a short few blocks and we were in town. Restaurants were close by and were easy to access. Our deck overlooked the Chattahoochee River and the view was very nice.

We could not have asked for a better location for our quick getaway to Helen. This place was exactly as described and pictured with a great view of the river. We loved listening to the soothing sounds of the water rushing over the rocks and walking alongside it on our way to lunch and dinner. The electric fireplace was cute and cozy for movies on the couch, and everything we wanted to see and do downtown was within walking distance. Tons of selections for food and drinks nearby. Our only issue was some extremely noisy vacationers in the condo above us, but we would definitely stay here again even if they were a permanent fixture.

Loved the location, layout and design of property. I would have given it 5 stars, exceptfor the fact that the sofa bed mattress was covered with dog hair and filth from outside. There was also a spot under the sofa of dog barf/pee that needs to be cleaned up. Otherwise, we absolutely loved the place. The deck over river was so nice. I do think their homeowners association really needs to clean up the exterior of the building, and do a total paint job,. Why pay hoa fees if some doesn't go towards general maintenance and upgrades? The unit itself is very charming and cozy. You feel far away from town, but you can actually walk to anything in Helen from the condo. We had a great time.

Wonderful accommodations. We’ve stayed in several Helen locations, but this is the best. Clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The deck is large, has comfortable furniture, and extends over the water/riverbank. The only negative was a problem with debris falling on our deck from the deck above.

I booked this hoochee haus for a nice quiet getaway and to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. The place ws so clean. It had all the things i needed. And the view on the river was so beautiful i could not have had a better place. It was close enough to walk to the little town. Or park in town and wander around all day and then drive back. The weather was great. The people were friendly. I met a new friend on my last day there. I will return to this hoochee haus.

We stayed for anniversary very nice stay. The highlight was being able to stay on the deck and watch the tubes go down the river. The couch and chair in the living area is in need of an upgrade.

Mostly it’s beautiful and location friendly BUT company emailed us a wrong code to enter, fortunately a cleaning staff who was leaving saw our frustration and ended up giving us her entrance code to use, saying that wasn’t the first time happening. The sleeper sofa was comfortable to sit on but very uncomfortable to sleep on and if you move it squeaks loudly, both kids unfortunately slept on it so it squeaked constantly and one child even slept on pillows from couch on the floor because it was so uncomfortable. Main bedroom the sliding doors when you walk in have thin gray curtains BUT a very bright security light is right out that door so the bedroom is lite completely up all night. Also the bed squeaks and only a thin bedspread was on it with no blankets to be found. We would not recommend staying here until those things are corrected.
